That was my problem with it and it only gets worse and worse and worse and worse as the show moves forward.

Questions like... Shouldn't Bruce know Selina in the future? Shouldn't Gordon know Cobberpot, or even Ngma in the future?

... This show really broke continuity.
It was promising, without the cameos.

That's just the first season. The second season is literally titled "Gotham: Rise of the Villains" because bat-villain cameos are all that show has going for it. Hell, I read before they went to their winter break, they introduced Mr. Freeze. Because........I DON'T KNOW.

My sister actually dropped the show because of it.
