My point still stands, if he´s a robotic angel or not doesn´t change anything. The main feature of an angel are the wings, without them they are just some half-naked dudes. If you´re basing a robot from an angel, you should pay attention on that main attribute. I agree that it looks better than the older one, but it still could be better, and it doesn´t need anything too complicated to achieve that result, you even have the wings separated from the body. But whatever, it´s your call.

Ok first here is Mirage with wings as sugested by you, note that I kept the same size because I didn´t want  Mirage to take any more space:
