"The energy, the energy is decreased.  It's still, it's still considerably strong, stronger than your, your enchantment, but, but, but, I can feel a decrease." The Professor adjusted his hands on the spear, closing his eyes and concentrating on the energy radiating from it.

Sakura Leic

"Uh I was talking about Pema absorbing the Mana" Sakura shook her head "I have never heard of something like that happening, is that safe?"

"Well, at least now I don't need to worry about it being too unstable..." Fxeni said with a sigh. He turned around and went to follow Pema. "Going to make sure she's fine."

Sakura Leic

"I'll come with you." Sakura said as she followed Fxeni.

The Professor followed along, as he wasn't sure what else to do and his bandages needed changed, something that he couldn't do himself.

Phi

(PM'd PB. Just waiting for his response now.)

Phi

(Alright, well, we have free reign to use Riagan and The King however we wish, until PB comes back.

So, whoever wants to commandeer him, please do so.)

Sakura Leic

(Oh didn't see that coming at all, let me see what I can do tomorrow I have something I need to do now.)

"Uh I was talking about Pema absorbing the Mana" Sakura shook her head "I have never heard of something like that happening, is that safe?"

Toshi - "I not sure if that can be safe for just about anyone. If I remember correctly, absorbing too much mana, even in it's pure state, might result in some form of mana mutation." She replied, as she disassembled her spear back into it's two segments, noticing them giving a very faint glow on the katar's blades, and the weighted ends of the staff.

"But for the time being, I think it's best if I don't depend on assembling my spear. At least it seems to show signs of stability when they're separated." She puts them away in her pouch, "As for Pema, we might want to check on her, we don't know if she's capable of maintaining that much mana, she absorbed."

Fear me.

"I have an idea---" Aya kneels down and gently takes the Professor's wrists. "This will only sting for a moment." Aya's face became serious as she began to transfer some of her own mana into the professor's body, the infusion would much like how healers worked on their patients speed up the natural healing of the body and reduce the pain felt. Aya's body glowed slightly as the process took place.

Quickman

Feeling the influx of mana much like the rippling waves that radiated from Toshi's spear, the Professor blinked at Aya. "This... this is like what I felt from, from the, from the spear!  How, how it travels up my arms... like an electric shock..."

As he considered the similar feelings, he started to wonder. "Could, could, could I have b-been absorbing energy, too?"

Phi

(... Really Quickie?)

Quickman

((He didn't.  He just doesn't know any better.))

Sakura Leic

(Okay I think I have an idea of how Riagan would act to Pema running into him, whenever you're ready I can go.  But for now.)

"Mana mutation.....?" Sakura repeated.

Dismissing his own question--which was unfounded rampant speculation on his part--the Professor turned his attention to Sakura and Toshi. "Mana m-mutation?"

As he was raised and trained to use alchemy, he wasn't very familiar with magical concepts, hence his earlier confusion to the mana energy radiating from Toshi's spear.

Toshi - "In other words, you become a physical elemental entity, from absorbing too much mana." she added, "I'm not sure what to make of it, but I've heard rumors of creatures turning into elementals due to excess mana exposure."

Fear me.

Sakura Leic

"Uh Fxeni is that true?" Sakura asked as she wanted confirmation since it wouldn't be the first time Toshi was wrong about something.

Fxeni

"There are theories about that, yes... but it doesn't seem very likely. There are indeed creatures that have strong affinity with certain elements and exude it, but those are species that use their mana for self-defense, not elementals," Fxeni explained. He glanced over at Toshi's spear.

"If there are indeed elementals, they were born or created that way; it wouldn't be from absorbing too much mana."

Sakura Leic

"Thank goodness." Sakura sighed in relief.

Pema stepped out of the Airship, her mind in a haze. Her steps were lazy and shuffled, her gaze shifting to the sky as she walked.

"We need to talk about what just happened," Salem broke the silence.

She returned her gaze forward, "Not now, Salem..."

"On the contrary, now is exactly the time to do so. You can't just ignore it. You need to tell them-"

"I'm not ignoring anything!" Pema snapped, "I just... I need time to think. Time... how long before... will it happen again? Could it...?" She muttered incoherently.

As she continued on her path, her rampant thoughts clouding her senses, Pema bumped into someone's arm. She backed away, bowing her head, "I'm sorry, I didn't see... Oh... it's you, Mr. Riagan."

Sakura Leic

Riagan turned around and looked down to Pema.

"My Father has summoned you and your friends.  Where are they?" Riagan asked bluntly not noticing Pema was not exactly acting normal.

(I hope I got that right, I figured he'd be more of a 'gettting down to business' kind of guy from what I've seen.  But Pema can just run past him or something.)

Pema turned her head and pointed back, "They're on the Airship over there. I... kinda left them, so I'm not sure if they're still in there. You can check, though..."

Her voice was sullen, deprived of her usual euphoric tone.

"Anyway, I have to go," She brushed past him, though at a slow pace, due to her sprain.

Sakura Leic

"Hey where are you going?" Rigan asked not sure if he should go after her or go to the Airship.

Pema stopped.

She turned around slowly and met his gaze, a faint smile on her face. Her expression was weary and somewhat melancholic, "I wish I knew the answer to that, myself." She spoke in a low voice, "I just... I just need to walk. Look ahead and think about some things..."

Sakura Leic

"You shouldn't wander without knowing where you're going." Riagan stated, though he started to realize something wasn't right he didn't know how to handle it. "The caves are confusing and the trails twist into many paths.  You might end up somewhere dangerous."
