But yeah if Calien can reduce the amount of time for Pema's ankle to heal from a few weeks to a few days with his Magic what effect would that have for the Prof's burns.)

"Brewing poultices? Is that like poultry?" Pema's eyes widened, "You're going to brew chicken!"

"Because brewed chicken is a common medical remedy," Salem muttered.

[Dr. Wily II]

(But it is!)

(How do you brew poultry, is it like brining it?   Oh god Peam.

Also what the heck is Poulitices anyway?)

((Poultice))

"Oh, no, no... I have poultices in my bag, I used them to treat Aya's wounds.  From her fight with Shadow Master, yes?  Applied one to my leg after my fight.  They help heal, help relieve pain.  These are things that, that my master, my master taught to me," the Professor nodded and examined the bandages on his hands.  His fingers had been wrapped individually, and then his palm and entire hand bandaged in a mitten.  Only his thumbs were free--though bandaged--to allow for at least limited dexterity.

After inspecting the bandages, he looked to Calien and smiled. "Thank you, Scallion."

(I still didn't get answer on how long it would take to heal with Magic.....)

((I wouldn't know.  Prof doesn't know magic.  He only knows alchemy and apothecary.))

(Well how long would it take to heal 3rd degree burns?  And how much would you think Magic would reduce the time of recovery?)

[Quickman]

((Third-degree burns usually require skin grafts.  For the purpose of this RP, though, with magic, he'd heal in a few weeks.))

(Okay that's fine with me, I kind of got the same result myself.)

"No problem though it's going to take a few weeks to heal." Calien smiled a bit sadly "Those were pretty serious."

Sakura was also glad it was over, though the image of Prof's bloody hands was going to be burned in her mind for a while.

[Quickman]

The Professor nodded and smiled again.  "I suppose, I suppose I'd best not brew up anything... combustible for a while, yes?"

((And I'm out for the night.  Zombie where he needs to go if stuff happens in the meantime.))

(So when are we closing up the rift? I was planning on Toshi visiting a blacksmith {who will just be an NPC for short while}, in the meantime; to take a look at her spear, and see what's making it glow so much {which of course happened when it was hit with a mana blast, made of pure light energy}.)

(Probably when Blue is able to post we can cut to the Rift disappearing.

However....

1. Dwarfs are one of the least Magically inclined species shown so far so I doubt even the Dwarven Blacksmith can tell what's going on with her spear since Magic isn't really their thing.

2. Conversly I think most of the Party, especially Aya especially since she has her memory back and Fxeni since he's Fxeni, could probably figure out what happened.  Even the Prof probably could if you tell him it was hit by one of the Mana Cannon's blasts I think.)

(I see. Although I was planning on bringing in Watts, from the Mana series, into the mix a little, but I guess that wouldn't work either way. But in the meantime, I'll try to post up something.

However, I think it's best for me to wait on either Blue, or Quickie to be available before I post it.)

We also need a crazy guy trying to make Cannon Travel a thing even though we have an airship.)

(The other function was to upgrade your weapons from orbs. So I was assuming Toshi's spear produced an orb from the blast.

I sure hope we could work the Cannon Travel into the RP. It was surely one of the most convenient ways of travel gaming history, in my opinion.)

(Yeah I honestly doubt that's what happened, not to mention Weapon Orbs were only in one game.  Really it just makes more sense that the pure concentrated Mana just did something to alter her Spear rather than create a Weapon Orb.

Besides Weapon Orbs only power up Weapons not imbune elements.)

While the Dwarves lacked any facilities to dock an airship they kindly allow the group to use an old stip mine near the top of the mountain, with a little work they manage to quickly build a structure to hold the vessel. Not pretty but it works. Once landed the party return to the dwarven city while the workers go about refitting the ship and learning it's secrets.

Closing the rift is luckily not an issue, with Aya's help the chaos no longer threatens the dwarves for the moment. Riagan is called to meet his father with the others the next morning after the party had a chance to rest as even they had felt the earth shattering events that happened in skull cove.

In the quarters the party was accorded, the Professor was mixing new potions and tinctures in order to replenish his supply.  The Dwarves allowed him access to their supplies and cauldron, and he made new salves, more explosive compounds, and ground a new batch of Lightning Powder.  A few Dwarves assisting him had the unfortunate luck of becoming unwilling test subjects, and they left the room with blackened faces and singed beards.

After seeing to his inventory, the Professor turned his attention to his newest acquisition; the Shadow Blade.  With its edge and a sturdy wooden staff, he fashioned a halberd of sorts.  The staff was a good six feet long and afforded him considerable reach, as well as serving as a walking stick.  He knew that he couldn't rely on his explosives and he needed a melee weapon for close combat.  The Blade perched in the split end and held with leather wrappings looked like a flat morning star.

Satisfied with his new weapon, the Professor left the quarters to go out to the old strip mine and practice.

(Shouldn't Aya have a Shadow Blade too, I remember she picked it up in the forest.)

((I imagine she gave it to the party or dropped it. Doesn't really need it, more so now that her morph blade transformed into the Goddess Blade. ))
