The Mana-Verse

[Dr. Wily II]

Albertus tackled the Professor before he could conjure another sizable charge.

"A puppet? I WAZ LETTING HER TAP INTO HER LATENT PROWEZZ! Zhe had a prophecy to fulfill... I HEPLED HER!! But now... Joo overloaded her!! Perhapz... Thiz wazn't in vain... I VANT TO ZEE HER FULL POTENTIAL!!"   

[Quickman]

Thrown against the ground, the Professor flailed, but managed to work up another charge.  It was a weak charge and he was unable to maintain it for very long, so he grabbed Albertus's head and delivered the shock.

"I saw, I saw the way, I saw the way you looked at her!  You, you, you didn't want to help her... you wanted her, you wanted her as your toy!"

[Protoman Blues]

"Stand still and face me, cowardly shadow creature!" Riagan yelled out as he blocked more Shadow Blades with his hammer.

[Dr. Wily II]

Albertus grasped his head in pain, as he rolled off the Professor. Still visibly stunned, Albertus tried to find the Professor's collar.

"Az if joo understand!! Zhe waz an angel... An angel zhat decided to live among the mortalz... Zhe waz a dezcendant of an angel Precurzor!!"

Finally finding the collar, Albertus motioned towards the neck, and applied pressure.

"ZHE WAZ AN ANGEL! AN ANGEL THAT VOULD GUIDE ME INTO A PERFECT VORLD!!"

[Quickman]

The Professor gagged and clawed at Albertus's hands. "The... the power of... the Precursors... is not yours...!  You... you don't... you don't know... what forces you're... d-dealing... with...!  What... what you've... unleashed...!"

With his other hand, he fumbled for his explosive vial, but was unable to get a proper grip on it.  The vial slipped from his grip and rolled just out of reach.

((I'm out for the night.))

[Fxeni]

Fxeni dodged and weaved away from the shadow blades that came, blocking some of them with his short spear as they flung towards him. He looked over at Pema who was doing her best to do the same.

"Pema... what say we corner this fiend with fire?" he said as he started focusing his mana towards Shadow Master, preparing a spell.

(If I don't get to post again in time Phi, just have Fxeni say the Flame Blast spell used in the previous fight as you cast whichever spell you want.)

[Mr. Haxwell]

Toshi rapidly spinning her spear to deflect most of the oncoming shadow blades, yet one of them somehow managed to graze her leg, causing her to kneel down to gripping the wound close.

Riyalie - "Be careful, will ya..." the pokéspirit chimed in.

Toshi - "Sorry about that." still in a bit of pain from the attack, "But to tell you the truth I actually meant that to happen..." quickly forming the handsigns: Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram "So that I can do this... Kuchiyose no Jutsu!" placing both hands firmly on the ground to summon both Riyalie and Grifter as the smoke clears.

Grifter - "Oh yeah. Time for some payback..." cracking his knuckles as he get's ready to lay the smack down on Shadow Master.

Riyalie - "...Pokkén style." finishing Grifter's quote.

The two dash off towards Shadow Master, who seemingly anticipated their movements.

Grifter - "Let's see how you like spinning... Hurricane!..."

Sneaking up from behind...

Riyalie - "Night Slash!" she came darting towards Shadow Master, as he leaps out of the way, causing Riyalie to be caught in Grifter's Hurricane. "Hey, watch it!"

Grifter - "My bad." as he dodges a few Shadow Blades thrown at him.

[Dr. Wily II]

The Professor gagged and clawed at Albertus's hands. "The... the power of... the Precursors... is not yours...!  You... you don't... you don't know... what forces you're... d-dealing... with...!  What... what you've... unleashed...!"

"If it helpz me to my perfect vorld... I CARE NOT OF ZE CONZEQUENCEZ!!"

Albertus continued his grip, blinded by his delusional rage.


Shadow Master was clearly being outnumbered... Currently 8 to 1. After dodging the last attack, he smirked.

"Numbers to overwhelm... I'll give you all credit. However... You are not the only one with numbers! Shadow Clone Technique!"

Shadow Master threw a smoke bomb in front of himself, and when the smoke cleared there were... 8 Shadow Masters!? They each dashed towards a hero/heroine/familiar, Shadow Blades ablazing.

(Yes, each one of you gets a Shadow Master, except for TENK, who gets 3. But who's the real one!? Have fun with your battles with hims.)

[Sakura Leic]

(I bet the real one is facing Riagan.)

[Mr. Haxwell]

Toshi - "Do you honestly believe that trick will work on the likes of me?" spinning her spear to deflect the oncoming Shadow blades, while channeling mana to her spear in for an electric attack. "Purazuma Kushizashi!" throwing her spear as it surges with plasma energy towards the Shadow Master in front of her.

Riyalie - "A cheap trick like this is nothing to me." she dodges the few shadow blades coming her way, "Eat Swift attack." she shot a barrage of stars countering the next barrage of shadow blades.

Grifter - "Why do I even bother..." he takes flight, effortlessly dodging the shadow blades coming his way. Then swooping down towards his target with his wings spread out, "Wing Attack!"

(Although Toshi uses water regularly, her spear contains other elemental properties, which she normally can't use without her spear fully assembled. It also runs on its own supply of mana, which is limited to the spear itself. In other words her spear is practically the only magitech in her arsenal.)

[Quickman]

"Your... p-... perfect world...?  Your perfect... world...?" The Professor fumbled for other items in his pocket, finally finding his vial of Flame Paste.  He struggled with opening it, both due to being strangled and due to his own burned hands.

"You... don't... own... this... world...!" Finally opening the vial, he knocked out a globule onto his powder-dusted hands.  The globule reacted violently with the powder and exploded from his hands in a crackling ball of flame.

((Hope someone has some bandages ready because his hands are toast.))

[Fxeni]

"Or not!" Fxeni said, casting his spell at the Shadow Master Clone before he could sync his spell with Pema. It goes off in a fiery blast before him, but the SMC jumps up to avoid it. Fxeni smirks as he pushes himself up into the air with wind, spear brandished and ready to pierce his foe.

[Phi]

While Fxeni soared at the SMC, Pema fires an Ice Blast at the same clone, giving him fewer options to escape the incoming barrages.

Albertus screamed in pain, the explosion was point-blank, and it burned. Dropping to the ground, and rolling around to put out any stray flames, Albertus clawed his way back towards the Professor.

"Vhat... Attachment... Do joo... Have vith this... Vorld... Joo were zhunned!!"

(Just dragging things a bit... So drag your SMC battles a bit too.)

(Unfortunately due to the nature of my post I might not be able to drag it out too much, though the post itself is quite lenghthy.  Not to mention shouldn't we have to deal with Omega Aile soon anyway?  That's probably going to take a while too.)

(Wait....how can Albertus know that about the Prof?)

(He used to have a normal life before all this... And even then he knows of discrimination between the various species.)

(Yep, all of them.)

(Unfortunately due to the nature of my post I might not be able to drag it out too much, though the post itself is quite lenghthy.  Not to mention shouldn't we have to deal with Omega Aile anyway soon anyway?  That's probably going to take a while too.)

(Yes, but given the time zones and everything, I want everyone to at least post a battle with the clones. Plus you need to give Omega Aile time to power up. )

(Well is it okay if I do go ahead with my plan, I was planning for my characters to help Riagan due to his inexperience with Dodgey opponents anyway when they finish their clones off.)

(Okay I'll wait to see what PB thinks when he gets online, I can probably finish those Clones with a single post really, especially since I have to control them myself now.  But like I said the post itself is actually pretty lenghthy.)

"This world... this world..." The Professor slowly got to his feet.  He teetered a bit, but stood tall--at least as tall as he could.

"This world... still doesn't b-belong... to you!"

Balling up his fists, he stepped backward, and spun a roundhouse kick to Albertus's head in three whirling steps.
