The Mana-Verse

(Wait Fxeni can provide Wind, Calien can provide Light, Toshi can provide Ice, Pema can provide Fire and Sakura can provide Darkness, but we have no Earth.)

(Sakura can provide Earth, even if she barely uses it, my question is does it have to be one person per element.)

Pema rolled up her sleeves and made a stern expression that looked more adorable than serious, "I can help out, too!"

"Have you been practicing like you promised?" Salem asked, "And I don't mean that time you cut a square inside the book to sneak in a sandwich..."

"Y-Yes, I practiced lots of times! I know I can do this!" Pema nodded.

She aimed Salem at the rift, the gem at the top of the staff glowing bright.

[Dr. Wily II]

(Gonna interrupt, need this part before the town.)

Back at Skull Cove Citadel, Albertus was in his personal chambers, when a shadowy figure appeared behind him.

"Did anyone zee you?"

"Here? No, master."

"Good... What newz do you bring me?"

"... Recon was a failure. The chosen one poses no problems. However her... Companions were a lot more... Trouble. There was even one that felt completely out of place... Her mana..."

"... You failed."

"Sorry master! This will not happen again!"

"That better be true... Where are they heading?"

"Towards here master, but they will pass by a small town."

"A zmall town... Good... You might have failed... However... Napalm Master will not!" 

[Sakura Leic]

(Eh screw it I'll assume Sakura can do double duty.)

"<Holy crap do we have to do......that?>" Calien thought.

"<Sakura.....>" Calien spoke in the language only he and Sakura knew.

"<Father.....?>" Sakura questioned.

"<You remember what I told you about your great, great, great, great, great, great grandma?>" Calien asked.

"<What, this is no time for a History lesson!>" Sakura yelled at him "<What does the History of our people have to do with the situation at hand?!>"

"<Oh I think that History lesson has everything to do with this right now, after all she was special even among our people and her blood runs in your veins after all so you should pretend to be her for a moment.>"  Calien said as his hand glowed with Holy power.

"<Wait a minute....you're not seriously talking about that.>" Sakura said as she started to catch on.

"<Exactly that.>" Calien nodded as he provided some of his power to Aya.

"<But wait assuming Aya is the 7th we're missing something!>" Sakura protested.

"<You think you can do double duty and pretend to be another one at the same time?  I think Toshi can provide the power of Water but we're missing the Earth element, so you should probably pretend to be the really short one too.>" Calien suggested.

"<....Fine, I can't believe you seriously just called her the short one.>" Sakura face palmed as one hand glowed with the power of Darkness and the other Earth as Sakura joined her power with the others.

"Toshi we need your water element now!" Calien shouted.

[Phi]

"Huh? What's that strange language you two are using?" Pema tilted her head.

[Sakura Leic]

"Never mind that now, we need to concentrate on this!" Sakura shouted. "Just concentrate on providing the element of Fire!"

"Pretend to be a really big jolly guy!" Calien shouted.

"Not helping!" Sakura talked back.

"Hey at least she doesn't have to pretend to be an old man who makes long winded speechs.......crap I really am that guy who talks way too much." Calien face palmed.

"I still love you dad." Sakura sighed in disbelief but smiled slightly.

(I am having way too much fun with this.)

[Phi]

"O-Oh, okay..." Pema was slightly taken aback.

((yeah sorry one person can provide more than one element. We just need all six to fix the breach by channeling that power into Aya's weapon.))

[Sakura Leic]

(Ah okay, we just need to wait for Toshi then.  If not Pema can probably provide the last amount for Water/Ice.)

(Right, sorry this came late. Since I was asleep at the time.)

Toshi - "Roger!" she acknowlegdges, "Suiton: Hahonryū!" after performing Boar → Dog → Ram hand signs, she forms a swirling mass of water in her palm.

Toshi - "Okay, got your water right here." she remarks, as she held the swirling water near the other elements causing her hand to glow. "Well that's new." she looked surprised at her glowing palm.

(Was in a hurry with this one, so I left out the detailed hand signs.

Took some time to put in some corrections. I decided to let a water clone do the water prison thing, since it would be too dangerous for Toshi to be so close to the rift.

(Are we actually using our magic yet, or are we waiting for everyone to get in their places to provide the elements?)

(We've already been providing the elements, I think.)

As each member of the party focused their elemental powers at the breach the beam of mana from Aya's blade became more focused and the breach in turn began to destabilize growing smaller and smaller until it finally collapsed but not before causing all the built up mana to explode outwards in a shock wave knocking everyone off their feet.

[Sakura Leic]

"Okay....that I wasn't expecting." Calien groaned as he sat up.

"How the heck could you not expect that?" Sakura responded as she held her head to combat the pain "With how much mana we were outputting to counteract whatever that was it only makes sense for the opposing forces to have a reaction like that."

"Huh....I was more expecting a dissipation/neutralization effect." Calien shrugged.

(So the chaos is still there right?)

[Mr. Haxwell]

Toshi - "Lets not do that again." getting up while rubbing her backside after a slightly painful experience, "Thank goodness my pouch wasn't attached to me when that happened; otherwise my tailbone would of snapped from my gear."

[Blue Valkyrie]

((Just the end of this small breach. We still don't know what caused it, these don't happen naturally.))

Aya rubs her head as she sits up. "At least we closed it--maybe the forest will heal now."

[Sakura Leic]

(Oh okay.)

"Yeah I think the forest stopped crying." Calien nodded.

"Toshi what do you keep in that pouch?" Sakura suddenly asked.

[Mr. Haxwell]

Toshi - "My weapons of course." she answered, "Thankfully Riyalie's been holding onto it for me."

Riyalie - "And it's a good thing I did. I mean, these things may be small but they look pretty sharp to me."

(Note that Riyalie was still with her the whole time when they were heading back to the cabin.)

[Sakura Leic]

"Hmm you mean something like this right?" Sakura said as she reached for something around her hip/thigh area and pulled out a kunai "I usually keep these around here because it's easier to reach for.  Though maybe we should get something a bit more resistant to impacts just in case."

(Yeah Sakura's sub weapons are kunais.)

[Mr. Haxwell]

Toshi - "Yeah, but if I told you I kept a katar and an extendable staff in there... I'm sure you wouldn't believe me." she quipped.

(Provided links to sketches of 2 pieces of her main weapon. When combined it becomes a spear. Oh and the katar looking one actually folds up into a brass knuckle-like thing.)

[Sakura Leic]

"Hmm yeah that's understandable....sort of." Sakura nodded.

[Blue Valkyrie]

"Is everyone okay?" Aya stands brushing herself off. "Mr Calien? I'm assuming this has never happened here before?"

[Sakura Leic]

"Definitely not." Calien shook his head "I think my theory about the Omni-Gem being stolen was correct it's the only logical explanation, but I wonder why this place was affected first, and if others are being affected as we speak."

"Either way I really want to stop that White Beard moron even more now." Sakura growled "His actions messed with my home, his greed harmed the animals, and now the entire world is going to suffer because of his power lust.  We can't allow the world to fall like this."
