Somewhere hidden in the thick forest cover, a lone figure crouched. It has been hearing the conversation between a rag-tag group of travelers, talking about an Omni-Gem, and White Beard. But especially the strange girl called Aya. It had received orders from its master that the time was soon approaching, and that Aya was the key. The figure continued to listen intently.
In Skull Cove, there was a tall citadel, White Beard's main base of operation. Ever since the mad pirate took over, the city has pretty much turned into a ghost town, ruled with an iron peg leg. From one of the many windows of the citadel, that stood a man. A rather hunched old man, in a cloak. His eyes stared out through 2 pieces of glass, smirking.
People has come to know this man as Albertus the Wiley, right hand man to the nefarious pirate White Beard. A man that practiced the forbidden arts of technology, he has helped White Beard in the constructions of some of his pirate machines. Not much else is known of Albertus, except for rumors that he was once the sole survivor of his village, and that he was raised by the mythical dwarves, known for their prowess in technology. Of course, no one could prove any of this. Still, his influence is well known within the city...
