The Mana-Verse

[Sakura Leic]

"That kind of surprises me, I mean if the Order is so desperate to make magic and magitek forbidden you would think trading would be kept to a minimum.  Traders are also known to share stories and knowledge after all."  Calien scratched his chin "There's another thing I must ask.....do you know where the woman who sells her chickens sets up her shop?"

[Quickman]

"The m-marketplace, yes?" The Professor shrugged, a bit confused.  He only knew of the outside world through what he overheard and what he saw on his various escapades outside the monastery walls.

[Sakura Leic]

"I know she's in the market place but where, like what are the other surrounding stands and what the section is she in." Calien continued.

"Why does Dad want to know this so badly?" Sakura thought.

Calien had ask Sakura earlier but due to being distracted by everything between the shopping and looking for Pema she couldn't pay too much attention to her surroundings and couldn't give a good answer to his questions.  She wondered what was going on in his head at the moment.

[Quickman]

"Oh, oh, oh, she's, she's in the first section, first section of the m-market," The Professor tried to remember the stalls and buildings that surrounded it.

"There's, there's a, a, an apothecary on that street.  Yes, an apothecary.  Her stall, her stall is... across from it, yes?"

[Sakura Leic]

"First section and across from the apothecary, got it." Calien nodded.

"Why did you want to know about this so much?" Sakura asked.

".....Because that woman is a childhood friend of mine." Calien said hesitantly.

"......WHAT?!" Sakura shouted as she almost spat out her drink.

[Fxeni]

Fxeni silently jots notes down about the town for future reference. His previous visits were very brief, so he hadn't known about these details before.

[Quickman]

The Professor stirred his dinner around on his plate, before taking a moment to pray silently.  After his prayer, he took a few bites and then continued with his babbling. "The Order, the Order, they provide for the town.  They provide for us.  The Order is good."

[Sakura Leic]

(Poor insane Prof.)

"She's a childhood friend.....are you sure?" Sakura asked baffled by the revelation.

"Your description of her matches.....not to mention our little chicken friend." Calien said as he looked at Bianca eating her grain.

"What does Bianca have to do with this?" Sakura asked.

".....She's not an ordinary chicken...." Calien stated.

[Dr. Wily II]

(MAGICAL CHICKENS!?)

(Eh not exactly, I have been dropping some really obvious hints about other things so guessing what Calien means shouldn't exactly be too hard.)

(I guess so, Farah would join in the fight as a guest start party member anyway.  Though I still don't know if I just want her main weapon to be a staff.)

(It should be a weaponized Chicken.  ))

(Nah she can't stand to see them hurt.  Besides her specialty is Wind Magic.)

(KABOOMS IT IS)

As the group relaxed in the safety of the inn's kitchen... A huge explosion rocked the establishment, visibly shaking the chefs up. Not long after, screams of the townsfolk filled the air, along with the stench of things burning. As the group wondered what was happening, more explosions were heard, and more shockwaves were felt.

Near the burning ruins of the monastery, a lone figure stood. The townsfolk were all running away from this figure, clearly the source. It seemed to raise its arms... If they can be called arms, and objects flew out of them. The objects travelled in an arc, before landing on the ground, and exploding violently.

[Sakura Leic]

"The Monastery is on fire....again!" Sakura facepalmed.

"Well since we're the only ones that can handle it we'll either be heros or driven out without proper supplies." Calien sighed "I get the feeling it will be the latter."

[Dr. Wily II]

(It's more than just on fire. )

[Quickman]

The Professor hobbled to the window in a stumbling run to see the carnage.  His home was destroyed, his work was destroyed, and the only life he knew was destroyed.  He gaped at it in complete shock, not knowing how to react.

[Blue Valkyrie]

"Common people need our help!" Aya rushes out the door into the street without waiting for the others, doing her best to avoid the panicking people she quickly realizes this is bigger than a simple fire as she approaches the burning ruins of the monastery.

[Sakura Leic]

"Aya wait!" Sakura said as she immediately enchanted her blade with Electricity.

"Professor stay here!" Calien shouted as he ran out to help Aya.

[Blue Valkyrie]

Aya came to a stop in front of the Monastery, she coughed and covered her eyes as the wind pushed the smoke in her eyes. as the discomfort passed she noticed the figure standing at the center of the chaos. Opening her hand her blade was summoned and she began to move toward it.

[Dr. Wily II]

(Ok, the following is already pre-destined. There shall be no outside interference!)

The lone figure faced the newcomer, and stepped out of the smoke. The figure did not look like a human at all, yet looked like it had arma and legs. There was no feet, just what looked like wheels. There were no hands... Just THINGS. The head looked like it fused with the body... A purplish body... And there seems to be things popping out from its shoulders, and above its eyes. Upon inspection of the newcomer, a voice rang out.

"Target. Locked."

[Blue Valkyrie]

"What--are you?, why are you attacking Iron Gate?!" Aya hissed back growing enraged by the carnage it caused.
