The Mana-Verse

[Phi]

"Whoa!" Pema cried as she leapt back, narrowly avoiding a spike. She tightened her fists. "We have to be careful not to touch those spikes; that's automatic death!"

"I... don't know what you're talking about, but in any case, keep a watchful eye on those ghost creatures. One of them is coming towards you!" Salem warned.

Pema nodded and rushed at the creature. "You don't belong in this world!" She casted another fireball.

[Fxeni]

"On it!" Fxeni said as he disengaged from the creatures, quickly making his way back to the Earth Mirror. As he runs towards the mirror, a stalagmite rises from the ground and narrowly misses. It was close enough for him to momentarily start to lose his footing though and he collides with another one, stopping him in place. He takes a deep breath and begins to run towards the mirror once again, finally reaching it.

"He goes nothing..." he mutters under his breath as he casts the wind spell anew towards the mirror, the razor sharp gusts cutting through it.

[Phi]

"Fxeni get to the Earth Mirror!" Calien shouted as he felled a ghost with his Axe while Sakura barely avoided a Spike causing a gash on her leg to appear.

At the corner of her eye, Pema noticed Sakura's wound. "Ms. Sakura, your leg! Are you alright?"

[Sakura Leic]

"I'll be okay." Sakura winched whenever she moved her leg while throwing Darkness enchanted Kunai at the ghosts "Daddy can take care of it when we're done here."

[Quickman]

The Professor, realizing he wasn't of much use in the fight, began to dig through his bag for a poultice and bandages. "Here, here, here, allow me..."

Crouching beside Sakura, he began to clean and bandage the wound.

[Phi]

"Okay, that's good." Pema smiled, then turned to another creature. She summoned large razor thin Ice Discs with a raise of her staff.

Pointing her finger at her target, she smirked. "You know what to do." With those simple words, her icy projectiles launched forward.

[Sakura Leic]

"Ah Prof don't do that in the middle of battle!" Sakura shouted at him and having trouble keeping balance "You'll get hurt!"

[Blue Valkyrie]

The Earth Mirrior shattered causing the onslaught to halt, however the two portals each changed colour one white one black indicating they had shifted in element themselves, both began charging a unified spell that if permitted to go off might spell doom for the party!

(Note these can be attacked)

[Quickman]

The Professor finished treating Sakura's wound and retreated to a safe distance while watching the mirrors.  "Perhaps, perhaps if, if the mirrors were to fire into each other...?  Use their own power against them?"

Not waiting for someone else to test his theory, he rushed out into the fray and toward one of the remaining mirrors in an attempt to adjust its position.

[Blue Valkyrie]

((I'll just wait for everyone else to chime in before we test that theory!  Let it be known that I was never afraid of throwing weird puzzle challenges at you all rather than constant mobs of enemies.   ))

[Quickman]

((Ringman and I have been playing a bunch of old text adventures lately, so I've got obtuse puzzles on the brain.))

[Mr. Haxwell]

Toshi - "We need to hurry." she took out the katar spearhead of her spear; feeding chakra to her hand, grasping her weapon, she uttered... "Light Saber, activate!" ...causing the spearhead to form bright lucent blades in the process, causing her nearby pursuers to flinch from it.

Turning her attention to the two portals.

Toshi - "Whatever those portals are doing we need to stop them, quickly!" she stated, repelling most of the pursuing ghosts with her spearhead, while striking down those trying to flail at her.

Toshi - "Hang on Professor, I'm coming to help!" she called out, fighting her way to the Professor, growing concerned over the ghosts closing in on him, who seemed vulnerable for the time being.

[Sakura Leic]

(I don't think the characters exactly know what the Prof is doing.)

[Blue Valkyrie]

"You mean to direct these spells at the mirrors? Alright everyone split up near the mirrors and get ready to dodge!" Aya yells to the others striking down a chaos minion.

[Mr. Haxwell]

(Lemme try 'n fix that last post, a little... there.)

[Quickman]

((Yeah, he's trying to direct the mirrors.  I wasn't sure if he could move them, though.))

[Sapphire Knight]

[Er... What's happening now? >>;; ]

[Sakura Leic]

(In a room full of 6 elemental mirrors with 4 of them already destroyed.  Now the last 2, Light and Dark, are casting 2 spells to make......Almighty for lack of a better term and the Prof is trying to see if he can move the mirrors to see if the Spells would destroy the mirrors. 

Also there's lots of annoying ghosts in the room.  I'll post something tomorrow.)

Shuu had been slaying minions while wielding Hellhound and Grani as a knife in his left hand and a sword in his right.

[Maybe he can use Hellhound's darkness and Grani's light on the mirrors?]

(Sakura has Darkness and I thought Hellhound was just Fire.)

[No, he's fire and darkness. But maybe a team attack can work?]
