Well, that'd make for a good lesser daemon. A fire-elemental dog.
Speaking of which, there are still a couple things about daemons I should probably mention. First of all, they come with 3-5 tiers: lesser daemons, mid daemons, greater daemons, daemon lords, and daemon gods.
Lesser daemons are, for the most part, either children or adults with their power compressed/sealed. Typically they're small and only have one element.
Mid daemons are more often than not just called daemons. Just a run-of-the-mill daemon with 1-2 elements under their control, which tends to lead to some interesting combinations (such as metal+light=mirror, or venom+fire=acid). All daemons eventually grow to this state from lesser daemons.
Greater daemons are the strongest state most daemons can reach, typically by absorbing power from other daemons. They usually have 2-3 elements under their their control.
Daemon lords are the rulers of territories. Technically, they're greater daemons, but a little stronger. The only way a daemon becomes a daemon lord is to have the power inherited from a territory's previous daemon lord, usually from said predecessor getting killed.
There are only 10 daemon gods, who are immortal daemons, each more powerful than the daemon lords and with a mastery over one of the elements. These only exist in the series I've been making the daemons for and probably won't be mentioned in the mana-verse.
Daemons also come in 12 species types, mostly based on the animals of the Chinese Zodiac, with some notable changes. Tiger is swapped for Cats in general, Rooster is swapped for Birds in general, Monkey includes Apes, Rat includes other Rodents, and Dragon extends to Alligators, Seahorses, and Turtles.
