Right Sakura is definitely not sleeping after she's done with the mech battle, though I think the physical damage wouldn't be that much more difficult to fix Magitech or no.

As long as her internals aren't to badly damage they should be able to apply their repairs to her without too much trouble.

Exactly.  The only thing Sakura would not be able to fix is her corrupted Battle Data regarding her Elemental Forms since that's honestly beyond her understanding to crack and fix.

Basically yeah-although I'm retconning the elemental forms for the reboot story, but might as we;; give a reason in the RP.

Some early concepts for the redesigns of several key characters from the original story.

From left to Right...

Blue: No need to discuss-she's here for reference.

Havok: One of the party characters-has a pretty important role in the prequel.

White Beard: Big change is turning him from an android into a flesh and blood character-otherwise pretty much the same.

Buccaneer: Biggest redesign of the bunch-will need to see how people like them compared to the classic design, I couldn't get the met like face to look good with RPGmaker's style so I decided to give them a more unique robot/sailor look.

Flare/Tempest/Aqua/Terra/Shadow: This and the other Five Star Generals aren't finished-more concepts to see how they translate into the style. Terra Star will need the most work since he's rather bulky but hey it's a start.

Do you need to do any complex programing stuff to make RPG maker sprites, or is there a simple generator to make the sprites.  By that I mean how simple is it to make these things?

But yeah I like the ones you have so far, and changing White Beard to being human makes much more sense.

Nah just taking the templet sprites and editing them.

Well there is the character creator in the program and thats click and go-but it doesn't have much I could really use to make my BV characters outside the human looking ones.

Well... To me... The new one lost the charm of the old one, but you did mention that it wasn't easy to recreate the cutesy Met look of the old one. Might need time to readjust, haha.

Though, the rest are really nice, especially digging White Beard, and caped Shadow.

Yeah I do admit I like the old Buccaneers better, if only because they looked more piratey.  Then again that could be because they looked like those mooks in Shantae that I don't remember the name off the top of my head. :\

So after a failed attempt to make FF6 sprites look good in the editor I went back to the MV sprites-thankfully I kept them all so theres not much loss of work.

So...

Blue Warrior Form, Blue Cleric Form, Pema (design pending as soon as Phi gets back to me.  8D), The Prof, White Beard, A buccaneer, Havok and Aya.

Now what I wanted feed back on was on Whitebeard/the buccaneers. Keep them as the classic robot design or make them golbins ala the Prof? (these are the goblin concept)

You know robit White Beard doesn't look that bad.



I might add some ear reploid thingies to add to the head but I was worried adding too much shading would ruin the met look. *shrugs*
