Hearing the progress so far, Merrick decides it probably wasn't a good idea to move Jeff over to where the others were heading, given he was most likely still covered in the ingredients that made up the Mind Powder. He can only hope Apprentice isn't in too much trouble with the psychotic Hypno as he reluctantly places Jeff back on the bed and closes the door on the way out, wanting to keep as much of the powder from worsening his current condition as possible.
Synthis, meanwhile, sits outside the door, keeping a leafy ear out for when Jeff eventually regains consciousness and attempts to seek out the town's Contest Hall despite the danger that was currently going on around them.
Merrick wanders around the center for the time being, looking to see of there were anymore trainers either hiding from the still lingering powder, or standing mindlessly in the direction they were intending to head in, using what little magical energy he had left to snap them out of their possessed stupor and get them to do the same for their Pokemon on the occasion that WilyII decides to further test his new found concoction to take control of their affected Pokemon.
Apprentice watched as everyone appears to be getting ready to mount their flying Pokemon and looks towards Pixie. Without being asked she drops towards his back and clamps onto it, flapping her wings and lifting him into the air. He eyes where Fallabor Town is while not giving too many suspicions of Merrick's sudden absence, hoping he can take care of Jeff's equally harrowing predicament long enough to get themselves to Lilycove where everyone else is going.
