After lurking for years, I've emerged to say this.

Mighty no. 9 is what we've been fighting for

Now I'll return to my cave

Nice to see you again!  8)

This feels like a dream I'm going to wake up from. I've never even considered backing something on Kickstarter, but I didn't hesitate one second for this one. Inafune is a [tornado fang]ing hero. I read this yesterday but thought it was a joke. And the composer from the first Megaman, my fav of all the series??  owo

Did anyone else notice?

Ahh... I see what you did there. 8D

That must mean the dog's name ends with a "sh".

Fear me.

EDIT
Mighty No. 9 just reached the Kickstarter goal of $900,000!

Kieran

Mighty 9 just passed the $900,000 goal by--*checks*--four thousand dollars.

Commander Shepard: *stares blankly at a video of scantily clad asari dancers* ...What kind of hotel is this?
Liara T'Soni: It is a luxury resort with an... exotic edge.  Azure is slang for a part of the asari body in some places on Illium.
Shepard: Where?
Liara: The lower reaches, near the bottom.
Shepard: I meant, "where on the asari body?"
Liara: So did I.

kosmos

Great news, finger crossed that we can reach the $2,500,000 goal.

Now Capcom, be nice and announce something at TGS.

Flame

I'm pretty sure this will reach every stretch goal. I mean, [tornado fang], it's fully funded in under 2 days, imagine in 29 more?

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Renegade Kid already wants to support the game to make for a 3DS port. This just keeps getting better and better...

Donated 40$ at first, for the game and manual/artbook

Then made it 60 for the box and physical manual

Then made it 99 because [tornado fang] i really want a No. 9 shirt. (and I'm curious about that transformation that "fans will appreciate")

That's as high as I'm willing to go though.

Donated my $250. First kickstarter I've ever backed.

Certainly not my first KS, but I also made for 250 clams.

If I can help it, I REALLY want that hardcover, signed strategy/art book.

@Flame

Watch the special transformation makes Beck into "Green Biker Dude", and his special power is to pop a wheelie and EXPLODE VALIANTLY. 8D

Welp, the funds sure are going in like wildfire.

I'd imagine that we can also thank how Comcept has done a great job explaining how KS works for those overseas folk. Since Japanese Rockman fans are likely to desire a console port just as much as a number of us do, that makes things even better! 8D

I could see this being a nice-sized turning point with broadening the appeal of crowdsourcing in Japan. Or at the least, they actually KNOW about it now. 8D

Flame

I've heard that the japanese are against "begging for money" and are not pleased with inafune going to Kickstarter for that.

Came from /V/ though, so yknow, big salt shaker with that.

This wouldn't be the first time that a Japanese group turned to Kickstarter anyway. Studio Trigger managed to amass funding in 5 hours for another episode of their big hit 'Little Witch Academia' after hearing about Kickstarter numerous times from English comments on their official YouTube upload of the short. In fact I have to wonder if it was their own success that first brought KS to the attention and consideration of Comcept.

Could be! Or maybe because ol' boy Inafking can be such a "westaboo" himself, maybe he was already pretty tuned in to what kinds of trends were working quite well for western indies, and wanted a piece of dat pie for himself! 8D
