Physical rewards, it depends, from what i see around the place. Shirts and plushes yes, boxes and USBs no.

3ds and Vita are probably MIA, there's no official word on them aside from the announcement that the porting developer changed.

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

Last I heard the handheld ports are being worked on by another developer similar to what happened with the Mac and Linux versions.

Hey Treleus, I liked it better when you hadn't posted for three years. Go back to doing that.

Amatiramisu

I'm still entirely disinterested in MN9 and I pray that Comcept gets the eventual sequel actually right.

Treleus

How would a sequel improve on the original? The game itself seems alright.

There's always room to improve. The core gameplay is solid, it could just use a couple refinements. Much like how Mega Man 2 fixed some of the issues the first game had.

What happens in Vegas stays on Youtube. I also stream on Twitch from time to time.

And then MM3 took what MM2 did and perfected it.

So really Mighty no 9 Part 3 is the one we need to wait for.

Sakura Leic

Let's hope MN9 Part 3 doesn't add unnecessary 2nd Fortresses and Doc Robots to artificially extend gameplay. XD
Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

Reaperoid

Ugh, the Doc Gemini section...

I mean I do think 3 is the best of the Classic games but the Doc Robot stages were so unnecessary even for a fake finale game.

MM3 was perfect shh shh </3

Flame

At this point I dont even care about the remaining physical rewards anymore... I think I'm still owed a box? I can't be bothered to check. I know I got the shirt already.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

It just can't help but to continue. [tornado fang]ing up is now their tradition. They can't break the habit!

There already is a MN9 sequel, it's called Mighty Gunvolt Burst and it's actually good.

But now there's an issue with the 3DS version of that and not being able to update it? Not sure if that's been resolved but without the update you can't get the free Ekoro DLC that's being offered for it lol. MN9 just taints what it touches it seems

3ds version is held back a bit in general, too. Lack of dowsing is a bummer. Also don't use rapid fire, short range diffusion shots on the final boss, it crashes the game.

Really?  If it's otherwise the same as the Switch, the game has no visual cues to a lot of its secrets.  I somehow missed the dowsing upgrade at first and it really holds you back.

Boxes with manuals that don't fit in them.  The fact that the franchise is handled by people who literally cannot measure paper pretty much sums everything up.

No actual Dowsing part on 3DS, only the audio cue of destroyable walls, unfortunately

Honestly I feel like the dowsing isn't as necessary since you can just shoot suspicious walls and find the items. I had no issue finding the secret rooms on 3DS without the dowsing feature, actually. The level design and layouts are solid enough to give hints on where to look, imo.

I don't want to go shooting every single wall until one goes ping, though, hahaha

Well I guess it's better than poking the walls with a sword like in 2D Zeldas.

It's not like the stages are that long, honestly. And it's quite obvious that a stage won't lead to a secret room if you just came up or were on the other side of it lol. And most of them seem to be ones you can basically walk in, similar to walls that would hide wall chicken in Castlevania, so with that in mind it doesn't seem that hard to find them lol. Not for me at least.

Anyways the  3DS v1.1 patch for it has finally come out in NA, a week late, and as such Inti extended the free period for Ekoro (for 3DS in NA only) for an extra week.
