Keiji's trying to get a Kickstarter backing up what seems to be his own spiritual successor to Mega Man. Not sure if this would fit other game topics or Mega Man news, but i'm going with the former because it's a series / title of its own.

I'm really hoping someone makes a high-res recreation of the two on the left in the top image there. Or that we get high-res pics soon.

I'm actually interested in the abilities system; sounds like the usual boss affairs, but also abilities gained from enemies. That might be rather interesting, even if it does just end up like the Z-Knuckle system.

I don't like No.9 design but the rest looks amazing, pretty awesome staff working on it. If Capcom is working in a 2D gameplay reboot of Mega Man, this announcement must be a kick in the ass for them.
