They should finish their game before even thinking about Red Ash and whatever Recore is. (I genuinely haven't heard of Recore. Are they SERIOUSLY starting a third project...?)

Mirby

ReCore's been in the works for a bit, actually.

Not to mention you claim they have a lot on their hands but... what would that be? I mean it can't be making post-release DLC because that caused all the delays, right?

So what else could be on their plate other than, I dunno, making the handheld versions? I mean if you want to say Inti is to blame, then that I can understand. They're releasing Gunvolt 2 and working on Bloodstained, along with other things I'm sure.

But Comcept... I have no idea what they might be doing that would delay the handheld versions. Red Ash maybe? But that would be irresponsible of them when MN9 should take top priority, and there's no excuse for them to delay that even further in favor of other things.
I doubt there's going to be any other DLC for Mighty No. 9 beyond the Ray Expansion since a bunch of the other features were funded and available already, though I don't get why the Retro Hero DLC is pre-order exclusive. As far as Inti Creates' side of things, all I've pretty seen from them lately is between Gunvolt 2, The Striker Pack, and sometimes Gal Gun on twitter. I haven't seen anything from Inti regarding Mighty No. 9. For Comcept's side, I wouldn't be surprised if they went quiet from all the [parasitic bomb] they're still getting, especially Inafune. Making the handheld ports could be a strong possibility to be honest, since their hardware is much different than a console or computer, not to mention the Linux and Mac versions are not out yet, so I wouldn't be surprised if they're still working those versions too. If it did come down to them saying "[tornado fang] it, let's work on our other projects", then I'll give you guys that.

OBJECTION MAN

Inticreates is the one actually making the game though. Consider Comcept a consulting and management company that hires studios to do the actual game development.

Now as far as I am aware, the handheld versions are NOT done by Inticreates, so that's off their plate. Next up is the Xbox360 version, which I'm not sure who is doing it but my best guess would be that it IS Inticrates. So that, along with patches, is what Inticreates is working on now I would imagine.

Given this game is probably a complete loss for them at this point after expanding development time so far, I wonder if they're even giving any shits about completing everything. They could just be taking their time cause there is no budget left to even work on this.

Also, no update on any of the physical rewards beyond the shirt. Radio silence, and no ETA. Hope I actually get them.

The 360 version seems to have been out for a little while now. I actually turned on my 360 for the first time in a year, checked the shop (which barely gets updated cause Xbox One took all the focus) and it was there.

Also Recore is another joint project with another company. Don't recall their name, but they're made up of people who worked on the Metroid Prime games.

What happens in Vegas stays on Youtube. I also stream on Twitch from time to time.

ViperAcidZX

I can attest on the Xbox 360 version's availability since I checked in both the US and JP Xbox 360 store around the game's launch window and it's there. I even have the demo installed, and it seems more stable than the Wii U version but I've played what the demo offered (the opening stage). And just to throw it out there, ReCore's dev team is named Armature Studios and their game comes out next month.

OBJECTION MAN

Guess some people didn't get their codes yet then. I saw people complaining about not having the 360 version yet.

So yeah, even more off the to-do list.

I dunno. Maybe they're all busy playing Legacy Collection.

Like I said, Inti Creates is also busy working on Bloodstained, and probably a few other unannounced things. But if they're not working on the handheld versions, then who is? Is it Comcept, and if it is then what is their excuse here?

Naw, it's some other company outside of that. They offered to do it and Comcept brought them on. I don't remember the name of them though.

This was on my mind recently. I really wanted that retro box and manual.

Though i've considered my MN9 money wasted anyway so I wouldnt even be bothered if they never delivered. i got the shirt, but ive been so bruised over this game that I cant even bear to wear it. I'm embarrassed to wear it.

I wonder if that guy who got the dinner with Inafune ever actually got that dinner.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

OBJECTION MAN

I wonder if the rewards are printed and ready but maybe make references to versions of the game that don't exist yet, and so they want to wait until everyone gets the game first?

Treleus

I can't wait to see the first hints of the Mighty No 9 TV show.

What would you rather have: a Mega Man cartoon made by the people behind Ben 10 and Ultimate Spider Man,

OR,

A 3D cartoon by Inafune's new company?

Sakura Leic

I kind of think Man of Action might, keyword might, be able to make a good Megaman cartoon if they care about it enough.  The main crew of Man of Action actually only produced the Original Series, Alien Force onwards were taken over by some other guys, you can't really hold the baggage of Alien Force onwards on them.  The other show they made Generator Rex was also pretty good and I highly recommend it.

On the other hand, Ultimate Spiderman sucks since they don't really give too much care to it, Man of Action even says you shouldn't expect much from a cartoon airing on Disney XD but when you have things like Phineas and Ferb and Gravity Falls beloved by a lot of people that's not an excuse.  I mean yeah they are working for Marvel but come on people that's not an excuse.

So it's a 50/50 shot.

Meanwhile we only know so little about the MN9 cartoon other than Beck is going to be clumsier.    Until I see more I can't say much on it....but as of right now I'm setting expectations on the low end for both cartoons.

I think we're probably going to see the Red Ash animated feature before we see the first episode of Mighty No. 9 3D.

Sakura Leic

While I am interested in RED ASH the game, though we haven't heard much since after the utterly messy kickstarter and until I see the gameplay I can't judge if I want to get it, I don't really care for the anime for various reasons.

Remember when Sega said that a decade ago not once, but twice?
Also thanks for reminding me how ungrateful bastards people can be.

Old news. Let's see if Comcept can laugh at themselves about this within 10 years.

Hey Treleus, I liked it better when you hadn't posted for three years. Go back to doing that.

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

You screwed up your link.

Anyway, physical rewards are apparently supposed to start being ready next month? And they still haven't bothered getting those 3DS or Vita versions done have they.
