It's E3!
It's E3!
It's E3!
Twenty Thirteen!
(repeat 2x)

Patiently awaiting for E3
All the really huge games at E3
Oh no, will I have to time to watch E3
When you least expect it, BOOM it's E3
I have to go pee, but no, it's E3
Even while browsing RPM, it's E3

*instrumental*

Nintendo's taking the backseat at E3
The one place to to see who wins is E3
Microsoft will likely tank badly at E3
Will Sony truly deliver here at E3?

It's E3!
It's E3!
It's E3!
Twenty Thirteen!
(repeat 2x)

Here we go!
Let's tune in!
It's E3!
Twenty Thirteen!

I can't hold my anticipation, for it's E3
Such awesome tech to be shown at E3
Oh no, hopefully not another remake at E3
Who will show the orgasmic games at E3
Who will be the train-wreck at E3
Innovation will be rightly measured here at E3

Gamers arrive with cameras in hand at E3
Developers please don't shame yourselves at E3
The fanboys are going wild because of E3
Someone better amaze us as we watch E3
Can't you just smell it in the air?
The countdown is reaching its point, what are you waiting for!?

*instrumental*

Now that we have that out of the way for E3
It's time to watch the fireworks fly, oh my
Can't wait, it's all up to fate, are you ready?
Twenty Thirteen gifts us more E3

It's E3!
It's E3!
It's E3!
Twenty Thirteen!
(repeat 2x)

Lyrics by yours truly

Intro

Since last year's E3 thread had a song pardoy, I thought I'd do my own. I'm not a wordsmith like our ever-egotistical PB, but It gets the job done I suppose.

I'll add in Jelly's rule to make it more official:

I will only ask that before you think about doing something stupid or potentially stupid, heed this rule:

No flaming, no trolling, no psuedo trolling, no fanboy agendas, and no riling up folks. It'd be best if you all just kept whatever thoughts you had along those lines to yourself.

With that all said, kick back, relax and have fun with the rest of RPM!

So Nintendo is the only thing I'm looking forward to as all the other stuff either

A ) Doesn't catch my interest
B ) Have already seen/already planning to buy (Ducktales, Rayman Legends)

Anyway, there'll probably be some surprises along the way too.

I'm highly anticipating Rayman Legends, Watch Dogs and Arkham Origins. I hope the latter plays just like the previous Arkham games; if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Arkham might be good but I want to finish playing City before investing interest in Origins.

Watch Dogs... well to be fair I haven't seen anything about it so I don't know what to be excited about honestly.:\

It's a free-roam game where you can hack into anything you want. Apparently all the characters you see are mo-capped, including random people you see walking around and doing various activities.

I'm pretty sure no amount of exclusives can save the Xboned

EDIT:

Is everyone's body ready for Sega's "Spectrum" announcement?

OOOOOOOH BOY! If Sega goes back to making consoles again, we can have the old trinity back (Nintendo, Sega, and Sony). After Xbox One gets CRUNCHED and added into the heap, of course. :D

I'm almost positive its just an arcade system, nothing more. That's the only Sega Hardware anymore.

just saw it. nice visually but i just really wish they'd have gone with a new protagonist so i could appreciate the new lead VA much more. new protag also would've gone a lot better with the general reboot and presumably a lot of other stuff they likely won't carry over or tone down from the original games. in fact just make another [tornado fang]ing Dishonoured for all i care by this point.

At this point, if Nintendo's new Smash was just Brawl with more gravity, no tripping, and more balanced characters, I'd be happy. Let's just hope they continue to not [tornado fang] up; SSB doesn't need any gimmicky motion control / second screen bullshit.

Also, Duck Tales remake? Hmmm... interesting. Carry on...

Smash Bros. has never been designed with a particularly competitive mindset and Sakurai has even stated he tries to make a fairly emphasized difference between each game, so I'm not really holding out for much anything that brings it back along the lines of the ever popular Melee. Best left to the mods/hacks in that regard. though tripping can [tornado fang] off yeah

Still though, from what I see the mainstream gamer is still put off by all that DRM BS, and Microsoft has yet to quell their fears about that. Obviously they're not going to do that during the conference, but they better start explaining [parasitic bomb] during some press interviews.

Ball is in Sony's court right now.

My guess is that they will via interviews and such. Haha, they [tornado fang]ing better.

I'll admit though, some of the games looked pretty nice. Most of them are not for me, but that Titanfall game looked like a ton of fun, and this is coming from someone who has grown tired of FPS games.

I just don't really like FPS's in general because I'm not good at them and to me most of them are the same.  The only one I would play is Portal since technically it's an FPS.
