I'd go more well rounded, especially since I'm giving Tyranitar's Mega Stone to Taylor when she gets her Larvitar and evolves it. I'm giving you the Absolite.

Trak will be a well-rounded trainer, nothing special. Good enough to beat the Elite Four and the Champion and hold her own--more or less--in battle.

I do not know when I will get to it, but I had this image of Katy Perry, Kenny G, the Hanson brothers, and half the cast of Glee would spontaneously show up at the Team Flora camp with "Last Friday Night" playing in the background. All the while, a Team Flora grunt is chasing Pyro around a chair because the immortal boy thinks they are playing musical chairs.
