Yeah my character is basically just in pants and a shirt. Probably could use more armor but maneuverability is always good.

And though I said Knight, I think I'd be a mix of the Swordmaster as seen in Bravely Default (which is more Samurai) and its version in the Fire Emblem games. Bit of a Samurai, but very agile and able to strike critical points easily for maximum damage. Take down the foe as quickly as possible, ya know?

Also yeah, we need PB's charm and pelvic sorcery in the RP as well

Kathy's outfit would probably be based off of Lightning's blue mage garb. Might as well throw in a mask also.

And she'd probably be carrying some sort of manual listing signature moves of monsters that she could possibly learn her abilities from.

Although the BD Swordmaster does have the Free Lunch ability, which removes any penalty for casting magic (in-game it's just no MP cost for two turns, but I think in an RP setting changing that to "cast with no consequences or exhaustion" works equally well)

And I could dabble in a bit of white magic. Nothing too powerful but a little bit of healing is always good.

but Knights can learn some White Magic spells, and that's generally what Fighters class-up into.

True as for magic casting, the getting tired if you spam spells too much sounds fair.

This sounds interesting, I'll join in.

I think I'm going to use Luna for this RP. Phi will be in here, too, but more as an NPC. She'll be a reference Luna makes to, on occasion, just like how Phi references Luna in the WilyRP. It won't be nearly as often, though, as Phi is alive in this RP; but she's a little girl and back in their village.

Now, can we control more than one character? Because, Archetype would be my second character.

As for their classes, well... I was actually thinking that Luna be a White Mage, due to her being a very sweet and kind woman, so a healer class would make sense for her. Then, I realized that White Mage might be a little boring to do, so perhaps I can make her a Red Mage, therefore, she could cast both White magic and Black magic. Although, less powerful versions of those magic, if we're staying true to how their class is portrayed in the FF series.

Arche could be a Paladin. This would also give me an excuse to wield Excalibur at some point!

Multiple characters would be okay but perhaps hold off on adding news ones until we do a few quests as a group, up to you in the end though as long as it fits the fantasy world this is taking place in. As for classes yeah sticking to dedicated roles will help everyone feel useful in conflicts, that being said you don't need to stick to classic FF class visual design if you don't want to.

The first post will contain a short summary of the world and it's rules as well as a bit of an intro. When you all start posting maybe include a little info on your characters and what their goals are too (art or example of appearance if possible.)

Better yet, I'll stick with Luna for now, and Arche can arrive later on when we've made it far enough into the RP. It'll be less confusing for everyone.

Speaking of RPs, I'm still curious in seeing that supplement RP thread being made.

Well Borock-Bot for sure is a White Mage/Time Mage in Wilypocalypse, so not only will he be able to smack people with Holy power but he can also attack with Gravity, create Earthquakes as of Bravely Default and summon Meteors like in Final Fantasy 5.  Why the Time Mage can make Earthquakes and summon Meteors I've no idea, but that how the Final Fantasy series works.

And White Mages can learn Aero as well so they can actually have an attack beside Holy at late game levels.

I might do the same for my character too. Yeah time mages have had some odd powers over the years, FF5 had Geomancers but they were way too situational.

Ah it seems that Time Mages are still able to use Meteor in Bravely Default.
