Those things only come with MK8 + whatever free game you choose, along with a Red Wiimote + Wheel?

If you have a Wii already and don't need a wiimote or whatever just buy a Refurb from Nintendo directly (They're like $200 and come with Nintendoland) and then buy MK8.

The Mario Kart 8 bundle is about $350 at Gamestop, but yeah I just need just a few more games of different generes before I get a Wii U.

Refurb + MK8 is cheaper than that. Granted you have to wait for shipping and they're on backorder now, but its a MUCH better value.

As for game genre variety...

You've got:

Racing (Sonic All-Stars Transformed, MK8)
Platformers (DK, Mario, Sonic)
Something Unique (Wonderful 101)
RTS (Pikmin)
Party/Variety (Game & Wario, Nintendoland, Wii Party U)
Whatever the hell genre Bayonetta falls under (Bayonetta)
and Smash Bros.

That's all this year, now or later. What more could you want?

Hmm... I think I'm gonna cave and buy it. There's a 1-year warranty at the very least, so that helps.

Oh, and I just snagged Mario Kart 8 for $46 on eBay. What a steal~

RPGs like Paper Mario or something, a new Mario game like Sunshine or Galaxy, a Kirby game that's not Rainbow Curse, and just other things. I'm just not ready yet, especially with all the games for the 3DS I still need so I don't need a Wii U yet.

After the last Paper Mario game I'm less than hopeful about the future for the series.

Kirby's a late-game player when it comes to the traditional games in the line of Return or Triple Deluxe. I wouldn't expect to see him till 2015/2016.

Mario 3D World is great, its no Sunshine or Galaxy but not everything can be.

Game selection kind of sucks because its still sort of new but you might not pick it up for another few years going by the glacial pace quality games are being released at.

Hell I think the Wii U's getting skipped over by the annualshit too, its really struggling for games.

Oh I'm still getting 3D World, it's more convincing my brother to get the console than me. And like I said I still have games I need to get for the 3DS, I'm hoping that the VC gets more GBA games, Battle Network is a good start but there's so much more they can do. I wouldn't mind having Final Fantasy 5 and 6 being portable again.

I'm still waiting for a 3DS remake of Final Fantasy VI, though that's probably wishful thinking.

You have no idea how much I want that, but I just want 5 and 6 to be remade again period. I mean I'm fine with 5 on the GBA but 6 needs that remake for the glorious music it has, then again 5 has kickass music too. I at least want a complete edition like 4 got for the PSP, hell they could be fused together in that collection like the Anthology for the Playstation, but better!
