I need to start on the books I got for my birthday.  Cloud Atlas is looking quite daunting.

So I finally got my DVI cable I ordered a couple weeks ago. I got it mostly because I wanted to try out a dual-monitor setup, and even if I didn't like it, at least DVI is somewhat higher quality than VGA.
So I got my old flatscreen up.
I love it.

Since the main one is widescreen (1600x900) and the other square (1280x1024), it's not exactly "nice", and it feels kind of wonky sometimes transitioning from one screen to the other, but it's pretty cool to be able to multitask like this.

At least I can at least adapt to not having a cell phone as long as there's a computer around.

Kind of? It's not a dedicated artist's alley but there are plenty of artists there so I suppose you'd be able to get the same result lol

I've seen results of commissions from MAG from, like, Kevin Bolk, so there's definitely something like it there.

Even though I've been having the worst luck with technology, seeing some of the Kill la Kill memes making me laugh so hard make me feel better, not that I was really hung up with my cell phone getting wet since I have email and my contacts saved in the Cloud.

My 'monitor' is actually a 40 something inch TV connected via HDMI and I'm so used to that now I despise the 10" monitors we have at work.

Speaking of MAGfest friend keeps trying to get me to go there and rock out with my guitar. :/

Yes that would be cool and all but I don't have a band and I've never even been there once so I have no idea how it even works!

Also I feel like there are enough VG cover bands and all of them make way better music than I do so I feel like even of all the stars aligned in my favor id just be a waste id an act haha.

It looks quite funny, imo, but it fixed my humor because I realised I can actually draw a cute and funny webcomic like this.
Though I still will need to spend some time drawing different poses. things and the like.

Anyway, turns out my tiny screw driver is not even small enough to unscrew the tiny screws of my iPhone to get at the battery.  I can only hope the rice can make a miracle happen, but the power of rice can only do so much.

Played the Mario Golf demo, and I suck at it.

On the plus side, I really dig the music (even posted a track in the listening thread) and the visuals are top-notch; I'd actually say almost on par with the Galaxy series.

... And now I want Super Mario Galaxy 3D

There is zero reason it should be on a console damn it.
The best part about it being portable was being able to just play a bunch of battles while you wait for food or a ride then continue playing later.

Also the only issue I ever had with NT for the GameCube was the ridiculous amount of waiting until the custom gauge fills up.

I actually really like that game.
Also I like that I bought it for 3 dollars haha.
