DRUGS IT IS

I actually have a box of ZzzQuil in the medicine cabinet.  It's just the drowsiness side effect of NyQuil in pill form.  Works pretty well, actually.

One is sugar high... The others on meds high. 8D

Time to go get in my pajamas and curl up with a good sleep aid...

She's sleeping on a chair in the kitchen.  I may add her to my bed.

Either I'm sitting too far away from the screen or need more sleep, because I keep misreading some of these posts.

I'm thinking of getting this. I'm thinking of naming it after a Gundam. Which Gundam I name it after might wind up being a custom license plate.

Might be the latter.  I know that when I'm sleep-deprived, I start misreading posts.

If I'm really sleep-deprived, I see signs walk across the road.

Looks spiffy, my mom was thinking of getting a Sub for Christmas since we would be done with car payments on the 2010 car by then.

Yeah. I need to save up a bit more before I can get it. I probably won't be able to get one till June or July sometime.

Snowball is here and her tail was touching my face.  Good thing my nose isn't sensitive like in cartoons.

That's still pretty fast. O:

Well most of it is saved up. Still need a comfy cushion.

I'm going to relax with a glass of milk for a bit, and then head to bed.

Mr. Haxwell

I'm half asleep in bed; Mia goes and jumps on my bed just to tell me ''It's just the two of us here. Everyone's gone already". Oh sweet solitude, how I've missed you.

Fear me.

Got Levan Polka stuck in my head this morning.

Last night, I spent a few minutes staring at my dowsing pendulum and watching it swing, and then laid down as Mabel joined me.  I slept great.

Guess the simple self-hypnosis worked, so long as it was combined with cat therapy. XD

Lately it seems there have been more coyote sightings around the area, I saw one chilling behind the dorms.  I better make sure Snowball doesn't escape too much, though she usually hangs in the backyard most of the time. :\

I haven't heard the barn owl lately.  Heard the barred owls, but not the barn owl.  It must've moved on.

Bit of a good thing, as its creepy scream in the dead of night is a touch unsettling.

And speaking of critters hanging out outside... I should ask my sis-in-law how the garter snake is doing.  I found it under a board beneath the kids' swing set, and had captured it so they could see it and touch it, and then relocated it to the rock garden.  Within an hour, it was back under the board.

Guess the eating's good.

Sakura Leic

We never had problems with snakes around here, and I'm glad for that since I wouldn't know what to do with them.  Lizards are one thing, snakes are another thing.

For most snakes, I try to relocate them, either by shooing them away or capturing them.  I actually prefer to handle larger snakes, as I can get a better grip.  The garter snake was about two feet long and coiled, so I got behind it, distracted its gaze with one hand and immobilized the head with the other long enough for me to pick it up.

Grabbing the snake directly behind the head is the most effective way of handling to avoid being bitten.
