I randomly thought about how a lot of women go to the bathroom in pairs or threes.

I never understood why that was.
Gossip, doing makeup together, or security.  At least that's what I think the reason is, I don't do that though and it certainly wouldn't be for the second reason.

I wish my work would stop calling me in every day; I want to work on Adventure#2 and get it done. I'm like 1 or 2 updates away from finishing.  X(

Sounds... boring.

The hell were you expecting?

Anyway my TV volume was set to 9 out of who knows what, man my hearing is good.

It's not like I expected anything amazing, but I was hoping gossip wasn't the main reason for going in pairs. It's like, why bother going in with each other when you can just wait for them outside.

Whatever though, I can't even begin to fathom a woman's thought process.

So they can gossip about the people they're with at that time right away instead of waiting. Come on, now.

Quickman

Exactly.

I don't go to the bathroom in a herd, though I've had others follow me when I'd go and try to talk to me.  I just want to go and do my business, thank you.

Anywho, I just got home.  Mabel threw up on the way home and my stomach's not feeling too great, so I may lay down for a bit.

Phi

So they pee and take dumps while talking to each other? It's a bathroom, not a lounge.

Hell, the makeup aspect I can understand.

Quickman

Yeah, it's annoying. "Oh, how're the kids?" *frrrrrt!* "They're good.  Little Timmy got all As on his report card!" *poot* "How's your husband?" *thbbbpt!* "Good, though he was making eyes at that little hussy at the next table..." *fwa-spurt!*

Phi

That was the funniest thing I've read in a while. Thank you. XD

Fxeni

Now now, you don't have to understand it... you just have to accept it :P

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this.

At PAX East, I had a chance to try out the Shovel Knight demo for the 3DS. Quite frankly, it was amazing. Absolutely amazing. Total throwback to classic 8-Bit Platformers, but still different enough where it was immensely enjoyable. Great music, great level design, basic controls, nice use of side weapons. I'm really really looking forward to the game now.

Protoman Blues

Yeah, I think people are gonna get there money's worth.

Oh yeah, also had the highest score on the demo level I played. [tornado fang] yeah, 8-Bit Platforming Skills. Young bastards better recognize!  8)

There's so many "throwback to classic 8-Bit Platformers" games these days I just don't even care.

Sakura Leic

I never seen Snowball stay in one spot for so long no matter how disturbed she is. :\

Fair enough. My friend has no desire to play this either. But man do they speak right to the PB.

Mirby

Back during GDC I got to hear a few tunes from Shovel Knight at POW POW POW when virt performed (King Knight, Propeller Knight, and Tinker Knight). He also said he'd try to get me a download code since I was torn between the 3DS and Wii U versions :D

But does it also hearken back to arbitrarily cluttered platforming and terrible jump physics? Actual question here.

Phi

I'm getting the 3DS version simply because I prefer playing platformers on portables.

Yeah, same here. Plus the Streetpass functionality.

Seemed pretty smooth to me.
