I'm just mostly quiet in general, which made things awkward when I was hanging out with a guy in anime club who is very extroverted a few weeks ago.  He was also different than a lot people I know since he's very ambitious and does more than more people do in their entire lives and I actually felt a little bad that I couldn't really talk to him.

Reading the Dragon Ball Z manga; kinda nice not having to deal with all the vacant eye staring  off into the distance in fear/trembling in fear/screaming while they fight stuff that made the animated series so eh to watch. 

Yeah, that got tiresome, but it had its charm... kinda.

Abridged series are terrible. Even if they don't start off that way they always go downhill eventually.

When I watched Dragon Ball Kai, I actually watched Kai as normal, but with some of the filler arcs from the original uncut DVDs. So stuff like Garlic Jr. arc and the driving episode.

Too each their own; I was laughing like crazy the whole way. I enjoyed them more than the real series.

The news is not exactly fresh off the vine, mind you. It's only because the Japanese airing was announced last month; the seiyuus already spilled the beans that they were recording the voices a long while ago (Nov 2012).

I only watch Dragon Ball Z Abridged, Dangan Ronpa Abridge and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Abridged.  I also used to watch Yu Yu Hakusho Abridged but that hasn't been updated in years and of course Hellsing Abridged only comes once a year.

TFS' DBZ Abridged series is the only Abridged series that has genuinely made me laugh with each episode.

Besides that, yeah, Abridged stuff are usually terrible.

Yugioh Abridged really stopped being funny after a while.  I can only take so much of the Pharaoh's narcissism and superiority complex.

That is also the reason why Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD had a replaced OST, the original being by the same composer.
