No. In fact, you can try this fun experiment. Fill a reservoir full of coffee and try to spray the cat with coffee. Observe how the cat seems to, magically, be repelled, away, from the coffee. Scientists believe that the strength of Cat-Coffee-Repulsion is about 16x that of Ferro-Magnetism. Ah that book I thought was going to be $100 was actually $70, it was the wrong book.  Though to be fair the same class uses different books, at least I didn't buy anything yet.  I'll go get it tomorrow.
