I know I've barely been here this year, but I still really wanted to drop by and wish all of you happy holidays.

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Quickman

Not much loot this Christmas, though plenty of cash, which will come in handy for MAGFest.

My niece got a Nook, since she reads a lot.  Of course, her younger brother is jealous because he didn't get one.  He wants an iPad.

He's eight.

irgpie

Amidst games and movies I got a stuffed moose and a moose calendar for next year.

my folks really love to tease about my affection for the majestic creatures[/spoiler]

Quickman

My loot includes a replacement for my missing "The Forgotten" DVD, which I am very happy to have.  Three books, including Require Reading Remixed, How to Write a Damn Novel, and How to Write Science Fiction and Fantasy... which I already have.  Also, a pizza kit.

Sakura Leic

I got Ni no Kuni, Dream Team, A link Between Worlds, some slippers, a bathrobe, a Jewlery Box and some stuff from Amazon that'll show up later.

I'm glad my brother loved my gift, it was the last copy of 3D dot Game Heros Amazon had in the batch I saw.
Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

Protoman Blues

Merry X-Mas all. I got Doctor Who soundtracks (season's 3-5), Super Mario 3D World, Wing Gundam Proto Zero MG kit, a couple new pair of jeans, some sweats, a new 32" Samsung Smart TV, and S.H. Figurearts Krillin!

Got a 1TB Hard Drive, a 22" HD Monitor for my PC, A bluetooth adapter for the PC, some clothes.

I got my dad GTA V and I got my Mom the complete series of Freaks and Geeks, they both liked their gifts.

Sakura Leic

I also got $50 from my Abuela, might use it to get an Okami wall scroll.
Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

Rin

So Left 4 Dead 2 is apparently free on Steam.
Huh.

Police Girl

Apparently they put Final Fantasy 8 on Steam.

Funny.

Sakura Leic

Hanging out with my best friend tomorrow.

Huh.

Yeah. I heard it this morning. I bought it as a bundle with the first L4D a couple months back during the Halloween sale, but my little brother can score it now, so that's nice. More Garry's Mod content for him.

If he wanted a reasonably priced tablet, it'd be something you might be able to swing if you saw one for a good price, but the iPad is mostly just a symbol. A very expensive symbol.

PS: I got a set of kitchen knives, some McDonald's gift cards, and a surge protector with USB ports.

And apparently the map graphics look like ass.

And they are apparently doing a fix like they did for FF7.

And they put Chocobo world in, that's the pocketstation game.

Though the community already fixed it.

I imagine it's not as simple as just repointing the code to an MP3 or WAV of the song. It's kinda sad when emulation is the better way to go. I can't say why they thought MIDI would have been acceptable.

Sakura Leic

Played some Dream Team, it's pretty interesting though I felt the beginning and tutorials drag a bit.  I kind of wish I played the other games but I want to play them in order.  Guess I need to get a rom of the first game, I wish the eShop had it though.

Well this was considered acceptable for a PC port made in 2000.
