What you are doing now is the reverse of what you did not want to do in the first place.
So why let it affect you so?
Quite frankly, I feel violated.
You could have ignore the reply. You wanted to reach out. He gave you a reply. And it wasn't what you expected.
I was actually completely ready to restart on RockmanPM totally ignoring his reply. In fact, you will notice that I posted in the Welcome Back thread saying just that. I didn't plan on giving a damn in the long run. What truly pissed me off is that he decided to post a personal, private message in a public place, which completely disregards what he said. He said he didn't want to discuss it any further, yet there he was, discussing it with everyone on this thread.
You can ignore things on the internet.
You think it's like a chore to do so, or a free pass for those to continue what they are doing.
My problem right now is not self-esteem.
My self-esteem issues last for less than 48 hours these days.
My problem right now is that I'd like to be taken seriously, and I can't do that when my private conversations are spilt upon the public, and I have been made to look like Hazard to everybody.
If it really bothers you, take some time off.
Time off does not fix reputation. It only makes it worse.

...Okay, you're right. I'm letting my emotions get in the way and now I'm turning this into an argument, which really doesn't help my reputation either way. Saying sorry to a broken plate and all.
Can we just forget this all happened?
