So while in line at college orientation today i almost got a job offer. The guy behind me heard my mention of going into the Broadcast Radio program and he just happened to work as a technician of sorts at one of the local stations. He gave me a number to call, but it's not really possible to apply or work there right now whilst I still lack a driver's licence. Pretty neat chance all the same.

So, TFN has a new mod who is far too eager to exercise her new powers. If any topic is even the slightest bit off-topic, she has to say something. She strikes me as someone who has never moderated before, and is a bit immature about the position, looking for any excuse to use her new powers, no matter how damn trivial it is.

I've already offered up my moderating experience to TFN through various means, but avoided wording it as a blatant request. They know that I have several years of administrative experience under my belt, though.

You're getting used to it I take it.

My day works in reverse, I start like a zombie but gradually get better. After Lunch I'm at my peak energy levels and usually the rest of the day is much better as a result.

Some lady bitched at me essentially for having allergies and having an allergic reaction due to the season causing my nose to be very itchy.

Then she proceeded to call it a habit like she knew why I was rubbing my nose.

Actually I think another thing I heard today might tie that for the stupidest thing I heard all day.

One of my co-workers went to a Jc Penny's yesterday with her little sister and there were these 2 guys flirting with another girl. One of the guys looks at my co worker, takes off his shirt, and makes a motion at her that looked like he wanted to squeeze her boobs.....on second though that's more disturbing than stupid.

Well apparently the back of my arm is something that touches people's groceries (hint: it doesn't).

Not that she had any groceries anyway, she just said it to be a [sonic slicer] (in fact she admitted that she was going to be a bit of a [sonic slicer] before she said that.)

I don't like it when customers helpfully give me advice on how to do my job, and I don't like it when customers [sonic slicer] at me for something I didn't do (Though this usually makes for a funny story later).

In another unrelated story, some older woman was going around giving cashiers pamphlets for her religion (Some branch of christianity, didn't bother to read it but I know people other than me have gotten them.) that's almost as bad if not worse than door to door "Please join our faith" people.
