I did not read the part about rivals, I was thinking more along the lines of the two counterparts having a chance encounter.

For some reason I imagine that with both being embodiments of chaos, it would create a Genesis Wave that will warp the fabric of spacetime to the point where everyone turns into the opposite who they normally are.

Could you imagine a chaste PB?

Also, after some thinking, once everybody interesed will jump on the ship, the setting is established and I come up with a plot I will probably write a prologue for each character or group of characters to introduce them and their reasons (more or less) for doing something in the main story.

Then I'll start making theme songs for each of the characters the prologues are for.

Also, if we ever go with the future/sci-fi setting... then I already have an idea for some plot, though nothing is decided.

[spoiler]It's the future, year 3XXX, space travel, yada yada. As far as everyone knows, humans are so far the only intelligent creatures in the known cosmos. There are two major "cosmic nations" now:

The Nation of Freedom & Snuggles - RPM

The Wily Empire

And they don't like each other because one of them constantly tries to take over the other.

Everything will start with a selected group of the good characters from RPM, being sent to investigate a strange ship which crashed on Earth's moon.
A ship with an unknown design.

There they will find a certain character of mine, uncouncious.

Meanwhile ruler of The Wily Empire will try to obtain the strange ship... along with its pilot. At all cost.

However, it all depends on the setting. So this might not even be used.

Now that I think of this, even without the music making, this seems like a cool story writing thing.

But at this point in Wilypocalypse, both of their personalities are mostly unknown, especially Phi. Though I can give you a brief description of their personalities and why they're like that, if you don't mind spoilers.

Also, I suppose I can be a grammar/punctuation "supervisor" of the overall project.

Remember though, the only thing that is set currently, is that this project will be an all new story. So feel free to modify your character's backstories (for example) once the setting and plot are established.
