It's actually not that bad IMO. It's no tablet, but still.

If you have swapnote, I can send you a few drawings I did some time ago.

On Animal Crossing it is. Doesn't help that I'm just inept at drawing above a first grader level anyway.

And you've sent me tons of your awesome drawings already dude.  :)

Phi

Oh right, I guess I did. I sometimes mix up which notes I've sent to people as sending them can be a bit tricky at times.

Police Girl

But yeah, main reason I wanted to draw on the 3DS was because I wanted this outfit:
(Link in my next post below)for my AC character and nobody else seems to have done it.

Doesn't help that its a rather complex design to draw (for the tiny space you're alotted that is.), but there's no back reference so I can't actually finish the entire outfit. And I sort of ran out of room near the bottom of the skirt, of course. :|

Sakura Leic

I can't see the picture on my iPad, can you tell me what it is?

Hmm, perhaps its got a no-hotlinking bit on it, hold on.

Try this.

Its one of the characters from Project X Zone (One of the Sakura Wars characters, I just found her design to be cute. :P)

Sakura Leic

Ah her, yeah that would look nice, I'll admit I stole the Rin Design in your town.
Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

Police Girl

That was a cheap and easy design so I jumped at the chance.

It helps that I actually had something I could use as reference.

Lol the 3DS browser is pathetic. It can't view either of the images/links Clefant posted :/

I'll check them out on the PC in a few secs.

Dr. Wily II

The image is hotlinked related, so don't worry about that one.

Yeah the Portable Browsers Nintendo has put out really don't like images if they get to be a certain height/width or whatever.

And the 3DS just hates imgur.

Okay, so it was a hotlink. :|

I just removed the hotlink altogether.

My mother is so picky with resturants.

She won't eat at buffets or any place where she sees a little dust on a windowsill and assumes the kitchen might be nasty too.

Sakura Leic

Ah so many Gyroids that I don't know what to do with! :o
Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

Police Girl

You've fallen into the Gyroid trap it seems.

Best start just dumping them or selling them.

Sakura Leic

Yeah I am, I would like to keep a few for future rooms.  I think the robotic ones will go into the Sleek room.

Oh yeah, here's how far I got with my design. :|

I can't do this [parasitic bomb]. I tried doing something with a SIMPLE Design first and I couldn't even do that right. (It was Tron's outfit for anybody curious.)

Protoman Blues

Damn. That's a LOT more detailed than what I've come up with.

Police Girl

You know I'm looking at this and getting some fearful sense of Deja vu.

Like I've done something very much like this before, maybe it was in a dream.

Oh yeah, got a streetpass from Call of Duty guy again, he changed his look and house.

Its covered in I think Team Magma logos now. And the guy gave me a Silver Shovel. and I think I got a balloon somehow. I don't have it anymore though.

Looks good to me even without the back.

The problem is that I ran out of room, the skirt is far too smushed and I don't have the gun holster on it and I didn't finish the belt loops and the little bowties didn't look right and the top is just generally unfinished.

Maybe I'm overreacting.

Sakura Leic

I think the Skirt is too long to make it work, but it looks good anyway.
Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

Police Girl

Eh, thanks.

I'm sure if I worked at it a little more I could at least finish most of it.

It looks fine to me, especially for someone who claims to suck at drawing.

As an artist, there were many pieces of work I've done that I look back on and get flooded with so many ideas of what I could've done differently to improve it.

While you may not be an artist, I can tell good work when I see it. Trust me when I say you did a very good job on emulating the design.

I honestly don't think I would've done much better; not with the limitations of AC's drawing system.

You really think so?

Heh, might come from the times I made clothing for this shitty online game I used to play, people really did enjoy how I was able to accurately recreate clothing designs from Code Geass or Megaman in a block-y style.

Of course.

And if you want to improve it, you can edit the design, right?
