Since what we have to look forward to in the Pokemon campaign is the cleaning and cooking of a Sawsbuck, I may jump to another chunk of plot while all the gory stuff happens.  No need to describe in detail how to clean a carcass.

When cleaning a Sawsbuck, do take care when removing and handling the bladder.  Unless you want it to burst and then you and the carcass smell like pee.

Pokemon needs more hunting opportunities.  I can imagine that Giovanni would have a trophy room full of mounted heads.

It's weak to bug type attacks, and one of his pets is a beedrill, which can get taught X-Scissor.

Giovanni's beedrill kicked LANCE'S ASS! I think it can decapitate a couple wild hydreigon.

In this PokeWorld, the food chain is present and very much alive.  Predators take down prey, scavengers feed on dead Pokemon, grazers are blissfully unaware of the Feraligatr waiting at the edge of a communal water hole in the hot, dry savanna...

And let's not forget the hunters, poachers, and trappers who go after Pokemon for meat, hide, and illegal trade...

Now that I think about it, Blue's scyther literally did decapitate Koga's arbok in the manga. A children's pokemon manga had outright decapitation of a pokemon in it! Though... Said arbok did get better...

Actually, it naturally regenerated. Still don't know if it was the body that regrew the head, or the head that regrew the body.
