Electric or manual?  I prefer manual can openers.  I have a nice ratcheting can opener that's easy to use and has a ratcheting lever as opposed to a twist handle, as it's far easier on my carpal tunnel.

Ah.  What part about a manual can opener is tricky?  Putting the can on the opener?  Turning the knob?

Getting it to actually open the can so I guess putting it on right?

Ah.  Yeah, that's tricky.  Mine isn't too tricky, as I just stick the rim under the blade, squeeze the handle until it locks, and then ratchet it open.  Maybe looking into a different type of can opener might help?

Perhaps, the one I have is pretty old, and again probably older than I am.  I'm not even sure mine 'locks'.

Might be high time to look into a new can opener, then.  One made for arthritis and carpal tunnel would be a good choice, as they're made to be easier to use.

Yeah I'll look for one at Walmart tomorrow along with the crock pot and my glasses.

I've had an electric can opener since forever.

It has a magnet to keep the can from falling off.

I highly recommend Good Grips Can Openers for manual ones. Does the job fantastically. I use it on Tuna Fish cans all the time.

Understandable. It's an East Coast, NJ thing. Honestly I didn't really know about it until some people at work told me about it.

That and I'm not much of a ham person, I prefer chicken and beef.

Technically, pork is probably my favorite meat. BUT you can do much more with Chicken.

Because the three episodes they tossed up had a pretty good dub.
And dub means potential for domestic release.
