Aww you guys, this is depressing. Every other feed I post in are excited for this, don't ruin this with that mega man stuff. I'd rather rename this site to Duckburg Perfect Memories: Gizmo Duck Rocket Adventures than hearing of another lost promise of the blue bomber.

Darkwing Duck HD, and Chip n Dale starring playable Gadget would be so much better than a new Mega Man game anyway.
Sorry. :'( But I can stand by this (underlined) statement.

Well it was nice knowing you. 8D inb4 thread-lock.

I liked the Ducktales cartoon. Never got into any of the relevant games though. I'm ok with the game getting an HD remake, maybe I'll try it out. Its just that  the false hope in a Capcom guy's misconstrued words about "also a new Mega Man game" which turned out to be "We are still just talking about it, but here, have some more merchandise" was disappointing. Bit of a let down which sort of killed any buzz i had over the game announced in the first place.

EDIT:

Well to be fair, he does have a point, not everyone likes Ducktales THAT much, or that much more than Mega Man. :P

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

True, though I was kinda joking on my end (hence the 8D earlier). It's just that I hate feeling left in all this excitement for never getting a chance to play the NES game or any Disney-Capcom game growing up, know you?

*sigh* I'll look into emulating these games if I ever get some time use my brother's PC.

Man, this month this month is almost over before I noticed. It's almost April 1st already *hint hint*

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

While this hit me right in the nostalgia and I'm kind of excited, I'm a little worried that they'll get it wrong somehow. Like maybe the distances aren't as crystal clear in 3D as they were in the old games, or that Scrooge's sprite eyes looking slightly upwards will bother me for more than a few seconds once I actually get to play...

That wouldn't be them getting it wrong, it would be you being autistic.

In regards to Darkwing Duck being next, they said that Chip and Dale would likely be next.

Perhaps after that we can get some good ol' DW.

QuoteThe best news out of all of this is what could happen if DuckTales Remastered is a success. Producer Rey Jimenez has said that this game's success could pave the way for more 'Remastered' classics from Disney/Capcom. Which game could be next to get that treatment?

"In a purely hypothetical world. I think Chip n' Dale would be the next logical one. It makes sense because it's the next in the hierarchy. "

also this is glorious.

Personally I'd rather they just devoted the energy to making new games. The classics are already readily available in numerous ways.

I see to be the only one that holds that mindset these days... everyone wants a billion ports of every game ever on every console they own.

Mirby

Personally I love this idea, and it gives a new generation a way to easily experience these classics in some form.

If people really wanted to play them, they could.

I'd like it they made a brand new game with the same spirit, to tell the truth. Then again, if this is going to help Wayforward out (with money and connections) I don't see the harm in this being made.

Then obviously they don't want to play the games. [tornado fang] them.

I agree with this, but I still want a remake of Final Fantasy 5 & 6.
