Is there something specific I'm supposed to do in Kiloude City, or somewhere else before the Looker agency? I can't find the agency in Lumiose City, and I haven't gotten a holo message about it yet. I figure I may be missing something. But I'm unsure what it is.

I think what you have to do is do a Battle in the Battle Maison, fight your rival, and then get the Mega Ring upgraded by Sycamore before you can do the Looker Quest.  I haven't gotten the call either and I haven't done the last 2 so that might be it.
Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

Quickman

If I recall, it's the last two.  Pretty much after I did that and went to Lumiose, I got the message from Looker.

Have you started bonding with your Legendaries, yet?

Sakura Leic

Yeah but you have to do the Battle Maison before you can fight your rival, as guide dang it as it sounds.
Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

N-Mario

Oh I thought the battle mason was optional. It has got the same options as that one battle area in Lumiose City.

Quickman

Go to the Maison and fight one battle, then leave.  Go find your rival up at the lake and battle him.  Then go to Anistar and meet with Sycamore at the sundial and have your Mega Ring upgraded.  Then go to Lumiose and you should get the message from Looker.

It technically is but you have to do at least one battle to tigger your rival showing up according to PB.

N-Mario

Oh just one battle? I've been doing like 5 battles. So I can interrupt it then. That's good. :)

Mirby

Yeah that's the cool thing about the Battle Maison. Unlike previous things like it (Battle Frontier/Tower/etc), you can stop at any time and pick up from there, provided you haven't lost yet.

I did one battle when I beat the game and haven't returned since. >0<

BTW, Does Prof. Sycamore say something different when you meet him in Anistar City for the upgrade, if you're actually there at 8:00 PM when it's lit up? Or is it basically the same speech?

Satoryu

The third Pokemon in N-Mario's safari is Ditto, so he has the same layout as Mirby.

Got my Espeon and Blissey. Oddly I have a crown next to my Coastal Dex even though I haven't seen Moltres yet. Guess the birds don't count. Wonder if Xerneas will be the same way? Any, my total is 524.

What happens in Vegas stays on Youtube. I also stream on Twitch from time to time.

N-Mario

For whatever reason, I think from what i read, it depends on the FC's # that depend on the pokemon you can encounter. I don't think we can do anything about that, can we?

No idea.  8 pm game time is 7 am my time.  I'm usually either asleep or just got in bed, or just plain doing something else.  I haven't yet seen the sundial lit up.

Why is your 3DS game clock so erroneously set?

Quickman

Most likely my fault and I haven't reset it to account for DST.   Resetting the clock isn't a very high priority for me at the moment, so I just set aside a morning to go hunt for Mega Stones.

Police Girl

Managed to snag a Vulpix in Wonder Trade.

Also got a Lickitung, and since I haven't seen him in my game yet I'll hang onto him till I evolve him to Licklicky.

Phi

Caught a Honedge.

Named it "Caliburn". I seriously couldn't resist.

Quickman

My Honedge is named Excalibur.  Got a female a while back and named her Avalon.

Currently, I'm just leveling my team, rotating Pokemon around to level some mid-levels, and I'll need to start raising more HM slaves.  Someone else is learning Fly, but I'm not sure yet who.  Well, I have that Fearow named Ebon Hawk...

Still holding off the E4 until I get one more Old Amber. And since I always play past 8pm in-game, I'll quote Prof. Sycamore in this thread.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Quickman

Ebon Hawk just learned Fly, so he'll be my new source of transportation while he levels.  St. Elmo went in the box for now.  I have Runaway as maximum level backup, Flamin' Yawn who needs to finish leveling, Mewtwo is about four levels away, and now some mid-levels in Anne Bonney, Pierce, and Ebon Hawk.

I'll need to some day pull out TrouserSnake and level her some more.  She's my other rock smasher.

N-Mario

And just finish the Looker Agency side quests........... Was interesting, though all of the events are of the same person to say. Sad to see him leave the area though. :(

Can someone confirm if Zygarde is the hardest pokemon to catch? Last I tried, I kept wasting balls, it escaped even after lowering its HP more than enough times, used different kinds of pokeballs. Finally just gave up and use escape rope.

What about the other legendaries in this game before Gen VI? Or I guess just one of the birds that I'm supposed to corner. Are they all the same difficulty, or are some easier to catch with ultra balls, or other high performance balls?
