I've been so lazy lately I didn't bother to sprite, despite having more time than enough to stare blankly at the screen. Oh well:

#1. In the game Elpis talks about "X hasn't been resurrected", that has to be some poor translation or a plot inconsistency because that guy can't possibly predict Vile coming back, he's not Lelouc...OH SHI-
#2. Ciel must not give a crap about the resistance during the early Zero 2. She most likely just cares about her experiments and greenlights any [parasitic bomb] she gets asked to get rid of the nuisances.
#3. No one likes Elpis, only his fabulous mask and hair.
#4. Now I use white text so you don't have to pop your eyes out to read the bubbles. I'm that innovative.

It means he's well aware people revive like it's nothing in this series. All the same, it also means he wasn't aware Neo Arcadia actually can't pull it off without Vile, not even Ciel could do it. Just like Phantom couldn't be revived. Without Ciel or Vile, they couldn't even create a new copy of X.

Sucks to be an X-bioroid does it not?

I don't remember people reviving like it's nothing in this series, they usually stay dead, boss battle revisit level aside.

Hmm...I don't think Elpis actually believes X can be resurrected in a short time, even if it's a copy...or maybe he expects the real X to be awakened and take control...but I'm not even sure when is Elpis supposed to learn about the X ruling Neo Arcadia being a fake.

honestly, as far As i know, the only time that they all revive like its nothing, is once Weil steps into town. before that there would be maybe 1 or 2 revivals, but that was it... now with weil, every single one of his soldiers were either revived, or brainwashed. he revived Copy X, Hanumachine, Anubis Necromancess lll, and Blizzack Stagroff. thats quite a few revivals for just 1 game. and then that ice wolf dude in Z4 was also a revival. as well as, well, i dont know if it counts... his attack during his first form, where he summons the 8 G.J. (although im not quite sure about the nature of that attack)

And im pretty DAMN sure, that given enough time to do so, he also would have resurrected Omega as well. I mean, Come on. that guy was the cream of his crop. His ultimate weapon. if he could revive 4 fallen reploids just like that as part of a secret plot to take over neo arcadia, im pretty sure he would have taken the time, no matter how long, to bring back his ultimate reploid.

The boss rematches ARE the point at which people revive like it's nothing. Different from the X-series in which the rematches are just empty shells, these are still the same characters.

I must say this is the best sprite comic I've ever read in my life.

I await patiently for the next episode in the series. As for my choice for which boss Zero should face first, I'm gonna have to go with whats-his-face, mostly because I have yet to play MMZ2 sadly.

Guess what I found piling up dust in a corner...of page TWO. This is what happens when you keep saying to yourself "meh, i'll do it tomorrow" for a month or so, and I didn't even had much else to waste my time on. Not like I've redeemed myself with this one or anything, either...

Disclaimers:

#1. Chapter with the least number of panels since #55, and some are copypasted. Way to look promising there.
#2. Like 5 years after the game launch is what took me to realize there were actually two separate tubes in Ciel's lab instead of one big tube.

#5. I forgot again which of the Baby Elves is Créer and which is Prier. It was posted somewhere in the old thread, IIRC. Well, not that it matters much until the two are together.
