How did Mega get a costume that's a palette swap of DW's? We may never know or care.

I'd like to think that this crossover isn't totally random; there exists a pirated version of the Darkwing Duck NES game with an orange-and-white Megaman in place of DW (and the MM5 title screen in place of the regular one).

Not sure why Mega was orange, there.

She belongs to *lizsama; I don't know much about her other than that she appears to be Zaiakuman's opposite (divinity and ice/water instead of brimstone and fire). It does make me curious if the other six MM:TT Robot Masters will have something to do with religion.

The design's probably off, since I was going for Classic and the only current pic of Seraph is of her RS incarnation. If so, sorry, Liz. ;_;

Rei Ayanami isn't sure why she's a robot in this incarnation, but this time, it seems that the Second Impact never occurred, as it always had on 9/13/2000, so it's all good--maybe.

What worries her is that some individuals share names with the Angels that she fought as a human. They don't seem to have their old powers or even memories--assuming that the Angels had memory at all--but Rei is afraid that they may "snap back".

As a robot, Rei guards a portion of Japan that Rock has never been to. With all the weirdness that's gone on in Rock's life, Rei figured that he was as good a person as ever to confess the truth about the world.

She's in the process of documenting all the former Angels.

#2, Lilith: Morrigan's sister. Rei isn't sure if she really is THE Lilith, or if the names are coincidental.

#3, Sachiel: Sachiel as in Rei's partner of sorts (the lady with orange armour). Rei is keeping a close eye on her for reasons other than her well-being, and Sachiel knows this.

#4, Shamsel: Sam, a bespectacled robot who takes care of the main Belmont household while Julius "J" wanders around.

#5, Ramiel: Shadowman. Knowing that he was once a member of the Council of the Artificial Planet didn't sit well with him.

#7, Israfel: Geminiman. At the very least, his powers are similar enough.

#12, Leliel: Layla, a robot who wears dark gray armour and oversized pink earrings.

#13, Bardiel: Bardiel, a blonde robot whose only dubiously-real joy in life is scaring the bejeezus out of others. He's kinda depressed.

#17, Tabris: Tabris of the Council of the Artificial Planet, who's still stuck there. Hopefully.

#??, Iblis: Zaiakuman, creation of Dr. Ramano. The fact that a new Angel has been reincarnated disturbs Rei to no end. Is he the only one?

Perhaps some of the threats that Rock and Rei are sent out to neutralize could yield some answers.



* Zaia's status as Iblis--maybe Rei's right, maybe she's not. That depends on whether or not Liz approves. :/

* Iblis is an extracanonical Angel, appearing in an NGE tabletop RPG (I think).

* Robo-Sachiel is based on the Angel Chromosome XX version of Sachiel. If that figure doesn't resemble Rei, then I'm seeing things.

* When I first saw Lilith in the Oct. '97 issue of Gamepro, my first thought was "Holy crap, she looks like Rei!" This was back when I was eleven or so, and thought Rei's hair was lilac instead of light blue. And wasn't old enough to be watching NGE.

Turns out FABRIC PAINT doesn't look so great on paper unless you apply many coats, and by the time I was told that, I didn't feel like painting anymore. But hey, I still like how this turned out, even if it was more transparent than I thought. (Especially the blue; all I could get out of the tube was watery crap)

I'm surprised that those paints were still good; at least one tube had a 1989 copyright. Mom probably didn't buy them then, but '89? That's only slightly younger than Megaman.
