TRON: Uprising

Disney uploaded the first episode on YouTube. It's supposed to take place between Tron and Legacy. I'm glad that there's another serious cartoon besides Korra around. So far, it looks extremely promising.

I wasn't really impressed. I didn't care for the characters or the character design. The only things the show seemed to have going was the Legacy visuals and a more active role for Tron himself.

The thing that impressed me was how dark it was for the Disney channel. The worst they showed was Spectacular Spider-Man, which seems more kid friendly than this. I mean, I know Tron and the others are programs, but I was still surprised the censors allowed death like that on the channel. Plus I felt the first episode showed potential and much room for growth. I guess I'm just optimistic like that.
