you'll be waiting a while; until we can decrypt 3DS roms, we can't access any of the sprites or music or anything. they can be dumped, but they can't be decrypted. the best you'll get would be from direct-feed screenshots.

In the context of MM, Capcom has done something for most/all of the previous milestones. We've reached the series's bronze anniversary, and...not a damn thing that's worthwhile.

Except maybe R20+5, but there's a chance they'll screw that up too (not enough new content to justify buying the same book twice).

Well, they don't have to, but at some odd or even-numbered anniversaries of a well-selling and popular series, it would have been nice to at least have something exciting to remember the anniversary for. Key years has been a release of a video game, and when we actually did get a game this year, it isn't what the fans were expecting or wanted. Currently, Capcom might not have something else in the plans (or they are hiding something big in the works), but they do gather up the characters from all the sub series and put them together into a few other things, like source books or art books, and sometimes even music CDs, which has been released ever so often.

And then we have the awesome Project X Zone here, which is the main subject of this topic.

The upcoming anniversary is the 25th. Mega Mania WOULD be nice though. they could even throw in the two GBC X games. Not like the 3DS couldnt handle it. Maybe even toss in some cheap 3D paper mario-esque effects.

They should release Rockboard with a translation on Virtual Console to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Mega Man series of video games for different consoles and handhelds and two arcade games.

Sounds good to me.  I especially love the Mania+Xtremes idea, unfortunately Capcom would probably rather milk the 3DS Virtual Console (which I wouldn't mind except for the fact that they keep us waiting on the X-series games forever).

And oh yeah, DASH2 Episode 1.  It's the only Legends entry that CoA didn't contract out of digital existence (unless by some miracle they're willing to do a retail Legends collection).

Holy [parasitic bomb]! That's the Cross Charge from X3! I know nobody but me likes it, but goddamn! It's so good to see X just do that double-shot animation again. GAWD!

It also feels good to see a look of satisfaction on X's face instead of a grimace or whinging.

This is my favorite X game since the SNES ones.
