They announced Xenoblade 2, I have to buy it now.

That looks like an awesome line up. Though I wonder how you can cross over Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem.

Well I don't have a Wii U yet. But the lineup they presented today is really convincing. I think the next money I can spare will go into one.

If Nintendo is still Nintendo, most likely by the time a lot of these games are out the system will lower in price.

Yeah it definitely will be. Hopefully it won't take me forever for me to get one like the Wii, though I did fine plenty of them during Christmas time when I got the PS3.

- The Legend of Zelda on Wii U confirmed. Aonuma working on new Wii U Zelda now. Driving theme behind development is to rethink the conventions of Zelda. This includes complete dungeons in certain order, play by yourself. Visuals to be different from what we saw in the E3 demo. Looking forward to revealing more. New Zelda game will take quite some time to complete.
- The Wind Waker being revamped for Wii U. Due out this Fall
- The Wind Waker for #WiiU brings HD graphics, Off-TV GamePad play, Miiverse & a tuned-up game experience!
- Nintendo/Monolith Soft new title features a character with a giant sword. Approaching giant dinosaur-like creatures. Involves robots that transform into vehicles that you can pilot around the world. Trailer ends with a giant red X.

I'll say this much...I'm definitely interesting in them changing the concept of a single player Zelda game. I'm hoping it'll finally lead to some playable Zelda!

Also, this year's E3 should be awesome.

The [tornado fang] guys, I already bought it just let me have it for free.
In fact, why don't you make the VC games (NES and GBA at least) cross-compatible with the 3DS, so I don't have to buy those games I got for free again.
No N64 or GCN VC announcement is troubling, but maybe that means they're giving it more time, which is completely fine since I don't want to have it be [parasitic bomb] like the GBA VC on the 3DS.

If I read it correctly, you only have to pay if you want to play it on the WiiU VC and Gamepad. That's it.

Well, you can ALREADY transfer it over for free. That's the thing. You pay to upgrade your transferred (for free) Wii games to the WiiU version. Which is to say, you're paying for:
-Gamepad
-Miiverse
-Putting it in the WiiU menu instead of the Wii menu
-Not putting up with the Wii menu's F*@#!ING CRAPASS MORONIC 512MB STORAGE LIMIT.

Let's just say I will be far more inclined to pay attention to N64 VC games once they have them up on the WiiU...

There have been rumors of Miiverse/Nintendo Network IDs coming to 3DS, and if that does happen, then I suspect that some strides in that direction are inevitable.

I'm sure they'll still arbitrarily decide what is and isn't available for emulation on a given system (by the same token, I do not in any way expect the entire Wii VC NES/SNES library to be upgradable on day one to WiiU), but if they ever do "unify" the Nintendo Network ID with the 3DS, then one would think you should only have to purchase one time a VC game that is available on both 3DS and WiiU systems.

Those of us who already have it on both are probably screwed, though (I like Punch-Out!! and Mega Man, sue me).

I can't imagine a Zelda game that needs a HD remake LESS than Wind Waker. Even Skyward Sword would get more out of spiffier graphics.

Wind Waker may not benefit as much from resolution and textures, but the new lighting DOES look pretty sweet. Still, it's not my favorite style for the series (raging over PB's use of Toon Link in Brawl doesn't help any), and I'll probably still be left wishing that the Twilight Princess HD demo from before the system release was an actual game.

Kinda missing the cel-shaded look from the Gamecube version to the HD remake. I loved the cartoon feel and approach Wind Waker had, but I'll most likely get it in the future and the other new Zelda game.

Do you think it will have a Co-Op Story like Link has an actual companion that fights alongside of him instead of giving him advice and certain abilities? It would be cool if Link had a partner to do team attacks with and the such... I'm very much looking forward to the new Zelda game that will bring in a multiplayer aspect to it.
