I guess we'll be seeing a lot of on the go FPS. I thought we'd see this with the DS/3DS but it seems devs didn't like Prime Hunters' controls much? This is their tried and true system though, so I'd expect a ton of them for the PSP2.

This claims to be specific to the non-3G model. Still, it seems like Sony promising crap that they either can't deliver or intend to yank away is just par for the course anymore.

But I still don't think the launch price is going to be less than $350.

Yeah, it certainly won't be below that price range. Sony has claimed that it doesn't want to set the price bar too high from now on, but with the way they've been designing hardware nowadays it's simply just not going to work that way.

How is trying to find a reason to purchase merchandise past the thought of "Oh look, they've attatched another nipple to it" hating? I have a psp and I love it as a gaming machine and music player. So....how am I hating rather than wanting a good reason to buy it outside of the usual console/handheld competition for money or point frankly just being a sheep?

Price always comes up for new releases of hardware. I seem to recall having this very same discussion about the PS3 back in the day, and that didn't exactly have the best of starts because of it's price. Definitely getting the same impression here.

I think price is coming up with this specifically due to Sony's past history with the PS3, and the fact that not only are they trying to compete somewhat with the 3DS, but are literally gonna have to try and make a profit on this thing due to the PSN [tornado fang] up.

Looks cool and all, but it's too bad I have my sights on getting a 3DS.
Because of MML3 and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked.
Let's just hope the software for it can make it a worthy piece of hardware (that and as PB said, to make up from lost profits from those damn hackers for sending PSN to bum-[tornado fang]'d Egypt).
