Topic name says it all. Let's go back to your childhood for a minute. Remember the scary movie that scarred you for life. Everyone has at least one, right? For me, it was Fire in the Sky. If you don't know anything about this movie, it was about a guy who gets abducted by aliens. This movie made my irrational fear of aliens. I know they're not real, I do, but I'll be scared shitless from them for the rest of my life because of this stupid movie!

Jericho

The Power Rangers Movie got me and I won't lie. Reason being: the purple [tornado fang]ing ooze. XD

Then there was Stephen king's The Langoliers. [parasitic bomb] made me NEVER want to fly ever.

Other than those two instances, I don't think there were times where I was scared by movies when I was younger.

Sub Tank

Not real?  Aliens are too real.  Make sure you sleep under the covers tonight, it's the only place where they can't get you.

Why do you think I can't fall asleep unless I'm under the covers?

Toy Story's weird baby metal spider chimera thing in the kid's house [tornado fang]ing scared me when I was about 4 or 5. Also, even though I never saw the movie, Friday 13 somehow scared me a lot.

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

Protoman Blues

The first Alien movie scared me when I was like 6-8.  LoL, I still love the fact that the 'rents showed me R Rated flicks at such a young age.

Sub Tank

I don't think I was ever scared by a movie.

It was mostly those discovery / history channel specials on ghosts and alien abductions that scared the crap out of me.  But man, those were entertaining to watch.

This, except it was most often the biblical links heralding the end of the world that would do it to me. That [parasitic bomb] has never sat right with me.

Sub Tank

Oh yeah, that end of the world stuff has given me plenty of nightmares.

But the scariest thing ever is waking up in that sleep paralysis state, and then expecting to get abducted by aliens, as if not being able to move is scary enough.  That's how you can tell if you watched way too much TV specials on UFOs.

Jericho

Oh God sleep paralysis. Not to take the topic off course or anything, but after reading a certain scene in Ai-Ren and having a good nightmare involving it, I can never feel calm when I don't move right away after waking up.

Well, this is the cause of all alien abduction stories. While in sleep paralysis, you're still dreaming. That means, you see things that aren't really there. So people who claim to have been abducted most likely were only dreaming it and didn't realize it.

Sub Tank

Most likely.  But then there are those people that have had strange metallic objects surgically removed from their bodies afterward.

Maybe people took them and actually really did that stuff to them? People, not aliens. Or they did it to themselves because they want to believe they were abducted that badly? There are more than enough crazy people out there willing to do such things.

Karai

Oh, that. Every few days I have a dream that I wake up being paralysed, and they want to get me. It started to irritate me, and few days ago when I again had that dream, I started to shout "Leave me alone, can't I even dream about pleasant things?!", and when they came to my room I said "Oh, get the [tornado fang] out!", punched two of them and walked away.

Little on-topic: I remember "Species" scaring the crap out of me. But still, not as much as documents about abductions.

You had dreams with aliens in them that are trying to abduct you?

The end of Space Balls.

What happened at the end again? Was it the Planet of the Apes Knockoff?

Yeah, quite often. Some are really frightening, but some are just silly. In that recent one, when I puched two aliens I went to some nearby house, and joined an orgy.
Happy End.

I can't believe that other people have had the same dream as me. oo;

Solar

It's obviously not exactly the same, it's only the same concept. You see, in mine I try to fight him with all the awesome DBZ techniques, but I can never pull them off despite supposedly being able to do them in that dream, they're only randomly succesful. Now that I think about, that was kinda a recurring theme in my dreams years ago.
