I have friends that like Deathnote, and Ive watched both live action films WITH them. theyre my Deathnote database.

besides, the basic gist is pretty straight foreward... A very smart kid fed up with the world finds a book that kills people and decides to take justice into his own hands and eventually becomes consumed with that power and decides the world will be reset and he will be its new God. and he does all this [parasitic bomb] so that people dont find out its him.
