I know right, that twist was really unnecessary.

I mean, I'll wait and see what comes of it. But yeah, if they continue with this route, it's as dumb as One More Day (AKA the above panel of Spidey saying "[tornado fang] Responsibility")

That Captain America being part of Hydra all along thing has to have some sorta twist involved right? No way Marvel is THAT dumb after the backlash against Dr-Ock Spiderman...right? Right?  O^O

Ironic that you didn't post the cover art in a picture thread. 8D

http://talk.transformers-universe.com/great-character-arcs-megatron-idw

I feel like this link sums it up quite well and gives context for the cover.

If I was to sum up IDW Megatron currently I would say A tired old man, who after millions of years of hatred and killing has been forced to face all his acts while trying to find some level of redemption. Now weather this character arc goes somewhere satisfying or not we'll have to see.  8D

Hmmmm, interesting idea.

It's why I liked the end of Transformers: Prime, when Megatron gives up being a Decepticon after being enslaved by Unicron.

True-although I feel IDW has handled it better-forcing Meagtron to constantly face the consequences of his actions and see the lives he's directly or indirectly destroyed has really changed him-that expression on his face I feel says it best. Seriously that pannel where Megatron see his statue and the flowers symbolizing all the lives he's taken is one of the more memorable scenes in the series up to this point and there wasn't a single piece of dialogue.

This crap with Captain America can eat my entire ass.  If you consider the history behind Cap's creation and the controversy surrounding it, it's particularly insulting and antisemitic.  Rather than get into a debate about this, I'll sum it up with the Joker:

The situation with Joker isn't that great either.

It was revealed that the role of The Joker is performed by three people.

It's the dialogue that counts.

It's the dialogue that counts.

It brings up so many questions, though.

And with all of that, there's bound to be plot holes.
