I thought Misty was too tsun for her own good, May was a bit flat (Yet a little too busty c wut i did thar), and Dawn was a spoiled brat. Iris has a bit of character to her but I stopped watching after the second season of DP so I can't really pass a verdict.

Misty was the best in my opinion she had the most character and was the most mature. May is my favorite in terms of design, I just am not a big fan of suspenders, but she had the most character growth out of the 4. Dawn like I said is like a female Ash so she was meh to me.

Anime Iris however I freaking hate with a passion, she was naggy, bratty and not at all like the sweet little girl you see in the games. I stopped watching the anime mid DP and I would occasionally see the new stuff, Cilan is a cool guy but Iris just ruined it for me.

I still think they should've did something other than two gym leaders, we could've had Touko at least.

Bah, all of Ash's sidekicks (and Ash himself) were just cardboard cut-outs in the personality department, starting somewhere in Johto.

May was a girly girl and complained about everything that didn't have to do with contests

I gave up partway through DP, so I don't know enough about Iris, Cilan, or Bianca to [sonic slicer] about 'em aside from properly aside from Iris arbitrarily getting a dragonite.[/spoiler]
