Because Nintendo is the only gaming company that ever existed and that will ever exist, rite? 8D
Nah, Nintendo can suck it. XP I just want one that's fantasy-themed (swords, spears, bows, magic, etc).

Elder Scrolls series, Thief series, Dark Messiah of Might & Magic and The Wheel of Time ring a bell?

Did you call? Nothing short of a Doom mod can fix. [eyebrow]

Elder Scrolls I MAY have played but don't remember.  :\

So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

You don't remember if you've played something as noteworthy as Morrowind or Oblivion? I'm not even talking about Arena or Daggerfall.

Oblivion just wound up in a pigsty I call the PC cabinet. Wow, way to take care of your games Gaia.

I remember the Mechwarrior series vaugely, and just remember I was mostly console gamer before PC games started to shine. It's why I can remember stuff like Yoda's Stories and such, along with games such as Red Version and Blue Version of that Pokemon PC game that lets you do all sorts of [parasitic bomb].

And until Nintendo makes an FPS that isn't war or survival, I still say that they're inferior.  bVd
Metroid Prime? Not exactly made BY Ninty themselves, but by Retro, under Ninty.

I would advise you to play Morrowind instead of Oblivion. With fan-mods to make it Crysis-good in terms of graphics.

But... "before PC games started to shine"? PC games have always been absolutely [tornado fang]ing amazing. While consoles were busy showering people with an endless stresm of basic 8-bit games, we had Populous, King's Quest, Wasteland and Flight Simulator.

All of these had endless streams of options and gameplay that was incredibly deep. And this was THE FRIGGIN' 80'S.

Well, I was a grade-school kid when big hits started hitting the market, so I guess I missed out there. :p

My problem is how many people limit themselves on purpose and then just diss the market without even knowing what it is. =P

Try playing something like Marathon or System Shock sometime.

I'd kill for a high res version of this, at least 1440x900 to fit this monitor my brother uses. *o*

[spoiler=Ultra-high res Guardian Heroes Wallpapers]

Looking at these makes me beg the question, "Why didn't they remake the intro to this game in HD with subtitles like Radiant Silvergun's?!?" ;O;[/spoiler]

Oh, of course. It's an isometric turn-based role-playing survival game with time limits, VATS system and apocalyptic setting, right?

Some day, I will have the space and the money to build my insect menagerie.

Starting with this gorgeous specimen.

Spiny leaf insect.  Also known as a giant leaf insect and giant walking stick, giant stick insect, spiny stick insect, etc.  They're quite docile, make great insect pets.  However, when startled, they will release a really foul-smelling musk that is difficult to remove from your hands.

As Mike Rowe found out when handling such an insect, the smell has a "definite wang to it."
