Why do people ALWAYS think of Robin as the "Holy Cow Gee Whiz" version from the Adam West show? Robin's AWESOME. And yes, all four of them. In the comic, in the cartoons... I think he's just not awesome in the movies. But he's always been a more-than-competent sidekick. He's trained by BATMAN, for God's sake.

The reason is because he is the one most people remember, due to the immense popularity of that show.

Also, he was awesome in Young Justice too, especially with the constant quip of "Brilliant deduction. CLEARLY, you were trained by the World's Greatest Detective!"

Yeah, but... I pretty much knew about Batman and Robin even before I ever read the comic or watched the cartoon. It's one of those things you just... KNOW.

Think about it. Dudes are pretty much made out of stone, the movies make it seem that way. They shine, so they probably got minerals in them. They're really strong and stuff, but no pointy teeth to drink blood or anything (which normally, animal species have in order to help their sustenance). They're animated golems that need blood so the magic animating them won't run out.
