You don't use these kinds of carts? In many countries (like mine) you have to put in a a coin to one of these carts if you want to shop (like, 1 EUR or so). The cars are stuck to gether. Every car has a chain with that red thing on it, and you stuck that into the next car. And so on. If you want to take a car, you put in a coin from the front, and the little red thing in the back pops out. This, on the picture is a cheating, they usually make the chains short enough so you can't do it.
