Just in case you haven't heard, (where have you been living, under a rock?!) Legends 3 is in development and they are even letting us fans help design some aspects of the game!
The most recent development is a poll regarding Mega Man Triggers armor.

There are three different versions to choose from, and the winning one will be the armor he wears in the game. If you don't have a serve bot number (mine is 93!) you need ot go register and get one asap! Then go to the devroom main page and vote. Make sure you do it quick as the contest ends on the 25th!

A bit late, seeings how this has been discussed in the "Legends 3 is real" thread already, but it's nice to see RPM following the DevRoom updates again.

Yeah, I know. I figured someone has to take the reins and start covering the devroom though. So, i'll try to stay more on top of things in the future!

Back at Capcom-Unity I voted for "A".

Yes, I am now one of those so-called "Bronies".

Acid

I like the new guy (Barrett).

He looks cool.

Livestream. But the gameplay parts are over.

Someone probably recorded it. I'll see if it's on Niconico later.

Ah a livestream, ok I'll see that tomorrow. It's getting late here.

Update:

http://www.capcom-unity.com/devroom/blog/2011/05/19/mega_man_suit_design_vote_-_decisive_round

E's torso looks thicker now, but the overall design for the armor looks even worse now. and makes LESS sense. (so now he has leg guards, but still has no crotch armor?) and they removed the butt plate.

D looks pretty much the same as B, but  bit more detailed and his hips are slightly wider. (and his crotch plate more detailed)

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

I wish we could get a mixed design, I like E's armor but the lack of crotch plate bothers me too much to choose it over D =/

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

Police Girl

D, definetly.

Color scheme could use more variety though.

OBJECTION MAN

I still like B overall. Orange backpack ftw.

E is still terrible just like C is.

EASILY Design D.

QuoteFirst off: I LOVE what you guys have done with the buster! The grey-toned backpack looks really cool, too; it distinguishes itself from the rest of the armor without clashing as radically as the old orange one did.

Design D here, easily. The line-art, which was my favorite part of B, doesn't seem to have changed much, beyond the aforementioned backpack and Ishihara-san trying to sharpen up the lower torso. Great work, there, by the way, just don't go too overboard or it'll draw too much attention. XD The new color scheme is awesome; I like that the armor highlights are a different shade than the upper limbs, and I absolutely cannot wait to see how it looks in-game!

Design E I think went a bit downhill. The "bolted" look to the joints convey a sense of basic hinges with limited movement, and clash with the "humanized" appeal that Design C originally offered with the hands and midsection (not a direction I preferred anyway; but the mixed message doesn't help any). Thickening the latter can be read as either padding or as Trigger needing exercise. I like the "belt" look in the rear, and the backpack is sleek, but from the front he still looks conspicuously unprotected.

New Roll: Love it. She looks more professional and ready for hands-on work as a mechanic, but the slanted belt and generally less baggy clothing still leave her with a touch of femininity. Excellent!

No matter what wins the other suits should be in the game as stuff to be unlocked. With play coins or something in game.

That is...an amazingly simple and awesome idea.

SOUND OFF IN THE DEVROOM WITH THAT ONE!

Or even just unlock different parts of all these armor designs as the game progress, for a mix-and-match that allows players, in a way, to 'make their own Megaman'.

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

Its interesting how they have incorporated a lot of E's design into D. mainly those joint things, but made them bigger, and part of the joints instead of something OVER the joints but part of the armor. Instead now, they make his joints not look like ball joints anymore, but the standard kind. At least they make the joints look complex and mechanical.

They kept the robot thong, but also included E's hip plates, which TBH was one thing I DID like about C and E. There's just something really nifty about them.

The backpack also more closely matches E's.

If there's anything I don't quite like, it's those bolt things on his feet. They feel unnecessary. I preferred just the plain white plating over them.

Its also weird, in that it was a design feature belonging to C, which was discarded in E.

but overall, really cool design.

We can all breathe a sigh of relief that Trigger's crotch is safe.
