It's not dark. It's green. Him being a massive water god monster was what made him scary. How can we blow him to bits if he's an actual Godzilla thinger?

Horn, teeth, and eyes are green (and the eyes were always green).  The rest is black/dark blue.

He's a solid now. He's supposed to be a liquid, with a brainy thing inside which screams "WEAK POOOOOOOINT!"

Maybe Chaos is more liquid like further down, would be an interesting effect.

Liquid with a solid head? I dunno how they'd make that design work, specially with what we got so far.

I just hope the final design is good.

Also PC version confirmed for about half the price and with Steamworks. Direct2Drive and Green Man Gaming are selling pre-orders now.

Here are the requirements, posted by Destructoid:
Quote
Sonic the Hedgehog regularly prefers consoles to PC, but Sonic Generations has been rumored to hit computers for a while. Those rumors have been given a dose of confirmation thanks to Direct2Drive and Green Man Gaming, who have pre-orders up for the game right now.

The upcoming platformer celebration is priced at a modest $29.99 and has the following system requirements:

Minimum Requirements
Microsoft Windows 7/Vista/XP Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4200 (2x2.0GHz) or AMD equivalent
2GB RAM (Windows 7/XP)/3GB RAM (Windows Vista)
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 / ATI Radeon HD 2900
11 GB free hard drive space

Recommended Requirements
Microsoft Windows 7 Intel Core i5 @ 2.66 GHz / AMD Phenom II X4 @ 3.0 GHz
3GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 / ATI Radeon HD 5850
11 GB free hard drive space
I can run it smooth as baby butter. MASTER RACE JUSTIFIED

Also SILVER

Ch, my PC would never run that game with that list of system requirements.  Not unless I put a hell of a video card in it.

Thing is, the beasty itself was perfectly fine without stuff like that.

All water with a skull inside his head.

And it's all part of his attitude. First time I saw this dude, I was SCARED as all hell.

I for one, am not surprised at all.
It is a modern game after all...
I just hope that 6/7 gigs of that isn't FMV cutscenes.

11 gigs is peanuts.

The Old Republic beta was about 40 gigs. Shogun: Total War 2 was about 20 gigs. Modern games are normally about 12 gigs and counting.

Add to that huge levels to speed through, all with beautiful textures? You're gonna have a big game.

I'm too used to thinking of it as a platformer, despite that only being part of the game, I think.

72 gigs? How old is your machine?

Last time I had a hard drive 100GB big it was about... 2001 or something. If you switched other parts, you should have at least switched out the HDD too, they're pretty cheap.

Almost 4 years old. My parents got it for me for school, thus the small size (so I wouldn't use it for games; obviously they didn't know me too well). Yet they got one for business (that they only use for solitaire) and it has a 120GB drive. Or 250GB. Regardless, it's bigger than my drive, and for no good reason.

I haven't switched anything out, either.

But I do plan on getting an external soon.

Jesus Christ, you got SCAMMED big time. Never buy stuff like that without checking first. My current PC's around a year old, discount model and it has 500GB. And it's a friggin' laptop. 500GB or 1TB should be a consistent HDD size, you got sold a computer with a jurassic part.

I fully recomend you check out the list I linked up there. It's got a consistent guide with the best parts to build a computer with, in cheap and easy ways, along with places where to buy them. There are tons of retailers trying to push overpriced old stuff on people. Don't get tricked!

I didn't buy it; it was a gift. As such, I barely had any say in what went on it (IT'S A GIFT YOU DON'T GET TO KNOW). I blame Dell's website, since that's where they got it from. This is also why computer-illiterate folks shouldn't buy a computer for those who are computer-literate.

I was able to convince them to get XP instead of Vista though. And I'll keep that in mind when I upgrade, which will be as soon as I can.

A 3-minute battery does not serve me well.

Trust me, when I upgrade, it won't be to another Dell.

My computer is a mish-mash of old and new parts.  I've got six gigs of RAM and a 750w power supply, and 750 gigs of total HDD space, but a motherboard, CPU, and graphics card that all date back to 2007/2008, the RAM is all DDR2 and two gigs of it is about half as fast as the rest of it.  It can probably run some new games decently, but I certainly wouldn't expect something like the Hedgehog Engine to perform at anything close to acceptable.
