The 3DS version is getting buried pretty hard, mainly because it looks like last year's Sonic Colors DS

Let's not kid ourselves.  Every Sonic game that Dimps has made for the DS has been Sonic Rush with a new name.

Commander Shepard: *stares blankly at a video of scantily clad asari dancers* ...What kind of hotel is this?
Liara T'Soni: It is a luxury resort with an... exotic edge.  Azure is slang for a part of the asari body in some places on Illium.
Shepard: Where?
Liara: The lower reaches, near the bottom.
Shepard: I meant, "where on the asari body?"
Liara: So did I.

Hypershell

Indeed.  Arguably the non-storybook console games have, as well.

its funny but between classic and modern tails... I see such little difference. he really hasnt changed much.

Also, video was so nice. I like that mix of L&L.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Police Girl

Smooth one Sega, quietly slinking in the level list in the videos, with a few other levels thrown in (And CD and Secret Rings, why show that one anyway?) for good measure.

Intresting pause between SA2 and Heroes. Also nice job on hiding 06's flaws.

Flame

a youtuber made a fun theory bout thata ctually.

"Actually I believe that was a joke referring to an absence of a third installation of the "Adventure" series Like how the fans would say "I want Sonic Adventure 3!!!""

Sonic is waiting for it to show Sonic Adventure 3.

also, so does that mean that is actually a list of levels?

Would be cool if they actually had CD levels in there. (as well as some of the others shown)

The level list was revealed in the Demo after it was cracked open.

Its pretty obvious (Showing Chemical Plant primarily for Sonic 2, City Escape for SA2, etc.) that they were trying to direct attention towards the levels people would actually be seeing in Generations.

Flame

What if they are adding more levels? Cant be too far fetched. Otherwise they would have Ignored CD. I mean they ignored Black knight, an yet included Secret rings?

Phi

Most importantly, they completely ignored Sonic 4. A numbered Sonic game.

Flame

well, again, there isnt exactly much to tak from 4 that cannot be gotten from any of 1-S&K. After all, S4 is just a rehash of past levels.

Which lends more credence to the idea that they could possibly add more stages. The whole idea of generations seems to be to make the fans happy by bringing bck classic sonic and including all these classic stages after all. And people got a bit miffed at the list having so many city/town stages.

Some new Chem Plant shots popped up on Retro, showing off some minor bits of Modern and one very well remembered segment of classic.

Sega, lovely well-put 1-UP box there. I'm probably gonna hate this version now more than I did back when I played the origional Sonic 2.  B(

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

slayer

wow, i still remenber when i used to play sonic 1, dude im getting old  XD, anyway the game looks good, try it will not hurt me.....right?

That was probably 3 in Hydrocity, I don't recall being able to run on the Mega-Mack in 2.

Karasai♪

Wow, this game just oozes with nostalgia.

I love it!  <3

No you couldn't do that in 2. But I wish you could sometimes. It would make Aquatic Ruin so much less of a headache.

What happens in Vegas stays on Youtube. I also stream on Twitch from time to time.

Flame

I now see they ARE using the red ring system after all.

Oh joy.

Wasnt it IGN that played Sonic Unleashed terribly?

Yeah I think they were worse than this still

I've never seen such a "move it dirtbag!" than this. We've already seen City Escape's gameplay gimmicks, we didin't need to see it again. >.>

Also, unlockable Chao in Space mini-movie if you can aquire all 'dem red rings in the game Sega. You've been using it as an random ad placement for both games, do it sega!

I was more shocked by the spindash rev time in Chemical Plant, it felt like he was just revving in place so he could have a drink or something.

And what was that death in City Escape? It's almost like he aimed for the bottomless pit!

Protoman Blues

It's nice to hear Chemical Plant Zone's music again!
